backup camera standard on 09 Sport?

question: does the 09 G37S M6 sedan come with the backup camera standard? or is a tech/nav package required?

i just tested a 2010 unit and it comes standard with the premium pkg, which is part of the "Sport" pkg. is this the same for 2009? i like this feature but don't care about the other navi features.

For 2008 and 2009 I believe you needed the navigtion/tech package to have the backup camera.

great, thx guys. i guess i'm stuck needing the Navi pkg if i want the camera in an '09 M6 sedan.

now the real challenge is FINDING one of these units in Canada. i've been looking for 2 months and not even one has popped up yet. i had to search for a few months for mine back in '06 so no real surprise...

Since you're on the Left coast, try Hyatt Infiniti in Calgary. There's a larger-than-usual turn over of vehicles in this city due to leasing and what with the Oil patch, people tend to get new luxury vehicles every other year.

They had two IP coupes, loaded quite recently. One 6MT, the other AT.

thx guys, i'll keep checking. finding a 6mt sedan is a challenge - nobody wants to let go! therer is the ideal car for sale in the classifieds -dark blue on black leather, Navi, illuminated kickplates, the exact mild mods that i would do. 22k miles, $26500. only problem is it is in Baltimore. that's 5000kms from home.
