Sat Radio Subscription

Mine is expiring next week. I've been getting 3 notices a week by mail and at least 1/2 dozen phone calls to renew.
The last offer was for C$79/year.
Just wait a bit and they will offer you the cheapest rate they have.
I'm not renewing as the only interesting feature would have been the Traffic Control and they don't have that available for Calgary.

If you know someone in the US that will let you use their address, you might be better off with a US subscription (if you aren't looking for traffic, etc.) the stations are way better...plus you get NFL, howard stern, etc that you can't get in Canada on XM.

My G was purchased in the US and brought to Canada. When I went to connect to XM in February 2009, they would not accept a Canadian billing address on my credit card and said I MUST go to XMRadioCanada.ca and go through their sign-up process.
I tried getting the $77 renewal and they told me this was for the US only (my argument that I had a US car didn't fly). I renewed at $110 Canadian for 12 months.
Take the $79 Cdn offer, its better that what I got....

I remember seeing special XM promote for $3.99/month for three months (Promo code DEAL4Q)
Frankly, there are so many radio stations in TO and the 9 gig harddrive loaded, I just don't have time to listen to XM.
