Lift steering wheel on exit
Took my G37S in for it's recommended 12,000km maintenance yesterday and got a G35x loaner to use for the day... Noticed that someone programmed the steering wheel to lift up and the seat to slide back when the driver is ready to exit the vehicle - thought it was a neat feature so when I got home I read through the manual and in section 4-18 it tells you how to program this under comfort and conv. settings but it also says (if so equipped) beside Lift Steering Wheels on Exit and Slide Drivers Seat Back on Exit. Since it's obviously not equipped on My G37Sport (because it's not in the menu items) it got me wondering which vehicles ARE equipped with this? Only the Navi models? or only the G35 sedans? Or just not the sport model?
Weird thing is on page 4-18 the Auto Headlights Sensitivity and Auto Headlights Off Delay have the line item (if so equipped) beside them and I do indeed have these on my G...
Anyone have the exit features on a G37?

Anyone have this feature on a G37?
Remember that the manual also covers the sedan model.

Good to know - thanks. Even though I sit with my seat all the way back - the steering wheel exit feature would have been nice for my knees... Kind of silly they don't offer it for the coupe - since the coupe is more confined to get out of...

^Ha!
Hey OP, you can program one of your memory buttons to lift the steering wheel for you. Just push the button and up it goes and push the other memory button when you get in and down it goes. This has been discussed many times on here and is a decent work-around for this lack of exit feature.

Ya, I thought about that too but it's still a pain in the *** to find that little button in the dark. Oh well, still don't get the logic behind the sedans getting this feature and not the coupes...
