We got 10cm of the white stuff over the weekend and it's -5C in Winnipeg right now. I've had Blizzak LM-25's on stock rims for a couple of days and am quite impressed with their performance on ice and snow, so far.

So you have 19" tires? anyone here went down to 18's? I want to know if it is a big difference in snow if I go to 18's.

Mine were on since Oct 25th. However, my Nokian WR G2 tires won't burn out as fast as Blizzaks or other 'winter only' tires. Have the Nokians mounted on Sport Edition rims (recommended by Tire Rack). Looks good.

What is the cheapest set of Blizzacks and rims that you guys can find? I don't care if they look pretty, just need them to get through the winter.

Just put mine on today to avoid the big rush for the first snow. I got my blizzaks 18's w rims from tirerack.com with tire pressure monitors for 2500 thats everything in taxes etc. They actually look pretty good and ride nice as well. I will post some pics soon.
