Now you'll really get to see what the new upgrades are like in the 09 G.
Na it was the tranny that pushed it over the edge cost wise.

Take them out and sell them. They are worth a lot of money man well over $1,000 or so I believe. I know you're supposed to get them replaced every 6-7 years but they aren't worthless.

^^ for the passenger side only

in the states you could sue for millions for anything and win. This never happens in Canada, no point in suing..lol

In Canada, Infiniti sues you!

No, wait, that's Russia... never mind.

If a car is totaled and the insurance company gives you the full value of your "used" car (what it was worth right before you crashed), the insurance company keeps/owns the car and they will sell it for what they can to defer their costs...pulling the airbags to sell for your own gain will not be an option.

^^Prolly right about the airbags but when I totaled my G35, I was able to go to the yard and get my "personal items" of which I decided to include CAI, plenum spacer, Nismo shifter, carbon fiber parts, mats, first aid kit, cargo net, and a few other items. I was not able to get my springs or any airbags (one of which deployed).

Sorry to hear about your car shumby. Looks like you'll be back up and running in no time. I just test drove the FX50 and it's hard to believe it's faster than our cars, but it is. The technology package in it is amazing. You'll be happy regardless of the car you go with.
