was taking a really good look at the tires this morning......fronts are flush, rears are sitting in a little bit. I suppose for better look I could have gone with staggered......3 out of 3 tire guys told me to go with the same size all around though......

Yes, staggered was their advice - called a few dealerships and they were unanimous... they said that is what Infiniti Canada advises them to put on, then they went on about this car is designed to have that setup and if you change it you lose performance in any weather condition...they may even look better too... I think the key is being a good driver... not even the skinniest studded tires can save a bad driver in the snow...

My winters are on. Used the Sport Edition F10 rims (18x8, +40 offset) recommended on Tire Rack (US$141 each) and threw on some Nokian WR G2 tires (235/50/18) -- non-directional tires so I can rotate them to their fullest. I wouldn't recommend a staggered setup. Even Infiniti recommends 225/50/18 tires all around so mounting them on different sized rims limits your ability to rotate them properly.

Looks good but I haven't tested their grip in the snow. Had the original WR on my Acura TL-S and they handled beautifully in southwestern Ontario roads. So I anticipate more of the same with the WR G2 on my G.

Hey, mind me asking which dealership and how much? I think last week some dealership was advertising free winter setup if you purchased the car plus all the normal incentive. It sounded pretty good.

Both dealerships in Ottawa recommended that set-up. But I dealt with "TG" because I bought the car there and the service is excellent and I get a loaner when I go in for service and free car washes - but I did see a flyer in my mail from "417" saying free-winter installation if you buy your tires from them - Savings of about $113. But I won't deal with 417 for many reasons...

My set-up tire/rim package LM-25's incl. tax and installation and Infiniti winter car mats cost about $2400.

No this does not include TPS - I will have to look at a small light on the dash.

Lol

I thought the advantage of ordering though the dealership and pay their premium was to avoid the tps light.

They can certainly do it for me - but nothing in life is free... I can live with the light on - and they even said they can pull that particular fuse or whatever so I don't see it for the winter months... I get them put on next week - the rims looked pretty awesome for 18's...

Came across this thread when searching for some pics of the BSA 264's. I have winter rubber but no rims -- I found someone selling 19" BSA 264's for $350 for all 4.

Seems like a no brainer to me to buy these -- probably can't get steel rims for that price -- but I'm open to opposing views..... anyone???

For that price can;t go wrong...as long as they have no cracks and spin up wobble free.
