also, i gota a friggin deep chip on my pait, mid way up the rear wheel panel. its logically and physically impossible to get a stone chip up there, but low and behold, i see metal !! so whats the best way to deal with it ? its about the size of a house fly. shouldi just use the touchup pen ?

I see alot of different sizes on here - some are putting 225's on all 4 tires and some are putting 225/45/r18's on the front and 245/45/r18's on the back - which one is the proper way?

Logical way:225/45/18 all around, so you can rotate the tires all around every season and 225 are narrower than the 245's. which it better because you wanna cut through the snow.
