I'll be up for a meet and cruze too as I live in Mississauga. Count me in for sure!
I used to be a avid BMW guy and the local forums had meets all the time. Met a lot of great friends too but sadly had to sell the ///M.

Yeah, Derry and James Snow parkway is close to my farm man!
As you may have read from some of my other posts, I don't actually own the G37x (it's my moms), but she said that she could lend me the car if I wanted and I was like YES. haha. I always love driving it. Ex Today I went to the autoshow with my dad, we were coming back and this other young guy in a 335i pulls up, man this thing sounded MEAN. He told me at a later light that it was dyno-tuned, had a turbo-back exhaust, and a few other things. We both "took off quickly" from the light, he was much quicker obviously, I only went up to 10 km/h over the limit (not a big fan of street racing personally), but this thing was mean.
Anyways, when my family goes to Guelph (sometimes we do it as a trip in the summer for the day or something) we take these awesome back roads, lots of hills and turns, if I can get the name then it would be an awesome cruise to Guelph/back (would only be about an hour though sadly). I'm sure you have some other routes as well that you like driving that we could hit up. Though if we went all the way to Guelph after lunch, we'd have to stop for a quick photoshoot lol.
So far, we've got:
-Canadian144
-NightHawk2009
-Greek_Infiniti9
-BigbodyG (if he ends up getting a G!)
-CarAddict (he seemed interested above anyways, lol).
I'm sure if this thread gets seen a big more we can get some more people to come. Maybe post it in the "meet" section later, also maybe on the NAGTROC or Toronto Nissan club forums.
Man I'm getting excited!

What kinda M did you have? My dad is a big BMW enthusiast, at our barn he is currently restoring numerous old bimmers. I think he has 2 2002's (1 tii), a few E24 6's, and a few E28 5's. I love the 2002s and E24s man, both are really nice cars IMO. Though he dislikes modern BMWs... hates the "snob" appeal that is associated with them & most owners (note I say MOST, not all! lol), the complexity of them now, and just doesn't think that they have the same appeal anymore. He especially hates the fact that they went to a V8 in the current M3... I agree with him, I think the M3 should be no more than 6 cylinders (how about back to 4?!). Though he says his favorite recent BMW is the E46 M3 haha. He says back when he was younger and had a 2002 when they first came out, people who had them would always wave at each other and stuff (kinda like what goes on in the Subaru community!). But hey that's enough of a rant from me haha.

I was at the CIAS on Family Day monday.... man there were WAY too many people. Never again going on family day. I was pretty pissed off that the rogers center wasn't used, like you said I felt that the show felt too small and squished in. I gotta say that there were a ton of really nice cars this years though. Too bad that they had that awful looking Infiniti G37S with that custom paintjob... I loved the Essence in real life though, it looked sweet.
Though the Shelby exhibit was awesome!

I had a E46 M3 that I loved. Modded it too much though and just was not a good year round car. It would only see sunny, dry days while I had her but that was not practical anymore as my wife needed a car to drive to work. I tried to like the new E92 3series but the interior and price just turned me off... I've always wanted a Skyline (R33 GT-R) so I got the next best thing, a G37S coupe! The G will stay stock (except for the coilovers...lol)

Going to CIAS this Sat but it's a yearly outing with a few buddies away from our wives...
Can't wait for summer too as I've been getting deep into detailing. Spent way too much on supplies and equipment not to mention to much time on the Autiopia car detailing forums. Glad I got white as it hides swirls in the paint.
Hey Nighthawk, do you drive up 9th line to get to Milton? I see a silvergrey G37S once and a while with snows when I go to and from home.

I am definitely up for a meet this year...got my G coming out of hibernation very soon, so anytime in May or June would be cool.
I couldn't show up last year as the wifey and I had our first child, so time was not my friend. This year will be different though. Planning a few more mods before then too.
