Speedometer Situation

was thinking about this and how the dial from a US bought car is primary in imperial. Anyone considered adding an aftermarket metric speedometer / guage at the A (front pillar) or somewhere else convenient ??

1. it will give you a 'moded' look
2. it will definately serve its purpose

sorry let me clarify.
for us canadians that are driving us spec cars, the speedometer is in imperial (miles) there is no way to correct this (although the smaller numbers appear in kilometers)
just wondering if any canadian drivers out there thought about adding a separate metric speedo that measures in km/h.. not just for looks (although it might look good).

but you can buy a Unified Meter (Part #24820-JK71C, this is the metric Speedo/Odo) for $657; closer to $560 on sale.
I'm waiting on delivery times then I'll decide if I want one.

Meh. I don't care for the look, and I can read small numbers.

All I really care to remember is 35mph-ish and 60mph-ish, which translate to most road and highway speed limit, respectively (60km/h and 100km/h). You know, for the times when there's a po-po around...

Otherwise, I just drive at whatever speed feels right. Safely, of course.

Gotcha. I didn't realize you are from the Great White North. Why not just buy a metric speedometer face and relpace the imperial one?

Wouldn't the Skyline have primarily Metric, may be able to just order the instrument panel back plate.
