That would have to be the case unless the dealer was willing to lose a bunch of money on the car... there isn't that much profit in any Infiniti to the dealership even with the incentives. I think many dealerships would sell at invoice or slightly below at this point.

I just got my G (about 2 weeks ago) and got a discount of approx. $6,000 plus the low financing rate. I could have gotten about $8,000 off if I had paid cash but my line of credit has interest at prime (currently 4.75%) which is much higher than the Infiniti financing rate and I didn't like the idea of putting the loc up that high.

Thats pretty much where I was at. Only extra was I got winter mats, tint and 3m included as well, and I leased a tthe 1.9%. If he got 10k off even with incentives, that car went well below invoice becasue I've seen the invoice list even with all options etc, and they make ZERO on freight so nothing to gain there, and only about $500 on the tech package. The car itself in a sport was about 4k or so.

I have hold on the G37 S (no navi) at the moment pending some issues. It looks like I can get a better deal though, mine doesn't seem that good now that I've seen all your numbers!

$49,950 MSRP
+$1,695 (freight, pdi etc.)
-$4,000 (rebate/discount)
+$579 (fees?) lol
+$950 (tint, 3M, mats)

Leaseing 48 months @ 2.9% = $722.15 / mos (tax in).

I'm getting back to the dealer on Mon/Tues...but it seems to me I need to re-negotiate.

Looking for some advice! How much more can I possibly get off? Thanks!

I haven't seen the breakdown yet. I just told him where I wanted the payment to be and that was it. I saw the sheet though, and I can tell you there is room to play. Of that $4000 in discounts you got, I believe 2k is coming from dealer incentives. The car holds about 4k gross in it, which means then are holding about 2k in it still. There is huge gross in those accessories as well. I can tell you, I got tint, mats and the 3m for $500 bucks, and that was close to costs. The mats I know 100% are $97 their cost, he printed HIS invoice for it. I'd say overall to in looking for another $1500 off and feel happy with $1000.

One other thing to possibly consider is take delivery after oct. 1st. THERE MAY be more incentives coming, but can't say for sure, but worth checking out. I will know if they come and if they do I'll let you know in case your dealer keeps quiet about it.

I rechecked my numbers, and I'm actually at $745.. forgot the mats, 3m and tint were added so it went up $15 bucks.

PM me if you have any more questions I could possibly help with.

I have a G37S without nav, tint and 3M. I pay about $680 for my lease tax in. Your number seemed to be $20 higher given your +$950 worth of option. Where are you getting your car from?

Thanks for the info. It's held at Erin Mills Infiniti now.

I just have to work out insurance tomorrow and then I'll give the dealer a call back, see how much wiggle room I have.

That's because they expect the G to make you a better driver

In all seriousness, my insurance dropped too. Not sure why, don't really care either, but it was around $10-$15 less per month as well. It surprised me because I always thought 2 door sport coupes were inherently more expensive to insure... not this one!!
