Pricing Help with CPO 2013 G37s
Hello all
I am very interested in purchasing a CPO 2013 G37s coupe. I am ultimately looking for one with less that 30k miles. I have seen quite a range of prices when looking at KBB, Edmunds, Truecar and the forums as to what the pricing should be.
I came here to get a true market value from the experts... the people that own and sell theirs.
What do you guys think a good price should be? I also know the 2017 Q60 is coming out in summer so the prices may drop.
The best offer I have gotten in the past month from a dealership is:
32K miles CPO G37s for 28,300 + tags OTD. Tags are roughly $500
BTW - The reason I want CPO is bc a friend just bought a convertible 2012 G37 with 28k miles a month ago and turns out her engine needs to be rebuilt and the dealership does not want to take ownership.
I also looked in recent prices paid thread and did not see much CPO prices.
Thanks in advance!

$28.3k would be a fair deal if you found an IPL. I'd keep looking and shoot for around 23-25k. The price on our cars is dropping quite a bit because of the introduction of the Q50/Q60. If you can hold your breath that long, wait until the release of the new models and you'll see the inventory get flooded. Always give yourself more options so you get the best bang for your buck.

Good luck on fixing your ride! But if you can't stick with your car for much longer, I'd consider buying a forum member's car. Members are more likely to be diligent about taking care of their cars, and the G is probably one of the most reliable (luxury) sports cars out there, especially years 2012+ with the update timing cover gasket. Even if you buy a non-CPO, you can always opt in for an extended warranty, which is on the cheaper side under 30k miles. Not to mention the tax savings you can manage by reporting a lower price from a private sale...
