Buying my First G...Need Advice
I've been looking at Gs for a little bit now to be my next car but need help because I see soooooo many that look alike but one will be an S the other one wont. I want to Make sure I'm getting what I'm paying for. I've only been looking at CPO but ya never know I guess. The one I am going to see Thursday is This one...Cars for Sale: 2013 Infiniti G37 x in Edison, NJ 08817: Sedan Details - 414034446 - Autotrader
The concerns I have is that looking through it and the Carfax, the car was registered as Blue when its obviously black. The close up on the badges looks sketchy too like they put them on them selves and looks like glue residue all around them. They also have another one on the lot same rims but non S and only $200 less it does have 10K less miles though.
Just looking for input on whether this is sketchy to you are not. I'm new to Infiniti so any and all advice is appreciated. Also what would be a fair price on a car like this? I know it depends on the area. Thanks in Advance.

The black one looks pretty good to me. I didn't see any glue or whatever on the letters tho.
In my opinion I always prefer less mileage. But then again the sport model comes with the big brakes and those are always nice. Up to you.
Go to Kelly blue book.com and search the cars prices. That's the best way to do your research. Good luck

Lots of orange peel in that pic with the g37xs (last pic). The dirt/debris in between could just be the result of the camera/lighting.
Don't think the car is blue. When looking at it, open all the doors/trunk/hood, look inside to see if you see any overspray.
I remember looking at coupe convertible before getting mine. Car looked great. They even had to wheel it out of the showroom to the parking lot. Upon closer examination, inside the pass door frame it was matte, while the driver side was glossy (might be the other way around). Clearly one side was repainted at some point.

Infiniti customer service should be able to run the vin and tell you what the original color code (not color name, but color code). You can then verify if it comes back to a shade of blue or black.
Mine I think is called graphite shadow metallic/gun metallic (depending on infiniti or nissan), but color code is KAD. The 3 letter code is what you're after.

The link shows a Malbec color. That is actually purple metal flake, black at night. The Xs is not a true S model. Do some research. If you don't need all wheel drive, look for a real S model.
