Wife totaled her 2007, G35 touching the ear of an suv with a very long trailer hitch. Yikes. So I had to pick a new ride for her. Almost bought a 2013 G37s coupe like mine but she really needed the sedan. Went by the Infinit in Little Rock and was able to catch a Q40 fully loaded with a retail price of 39,765. I grabbed it while they were offering 10k off list. So, $29,765 for a brand new Q40(basically a G37) for quite a deal. Considering I needed to get her a new ride pretty quick, I'm quite happy catching this at just the right time. It's a very solid platform that I really like.
I passed on all the extras in the finance office and talked them down in rate to what my local banks or credit unions would have offered me. I will probably get the extended warranty from Infiniti Scottsdale to save money compared to local dealer. I sold my old 2005 G35 6mt Sedan for $5k to my best friend and used that as down payment. Thanks for posting up your experience.

Found the purchase agreement which shows the $11,300 discount along with the $898 accessory pack for $300 (Tint, Wheel Locks, and 3m Door guards). The rate that was negotiated was lower than what was shown on the purchase agreement. They always have room in every part of the transaction.
Hopefully this will help someone out with their negotiations. I can see there is 88 Q40 left in stock in the nation ranging from $31k (discounted) to $41k (MSRP). Most dealers are showing $5k - $8k in discounts but you could have them offer as much as $12k in discounts. I was able to negotiate $11,300 off the purchase price and $600 off the accessory pack for a total of $11.9K in savings. Also they threw in one extra tank of gas and one year maintenance plan (3 oil changes and 1 tire rotation).
Also took some pictures during vehicle delivery and put some miles on it over the weekend. Love the changes from the Rev-Up motor to the VHR motor.
Edit: To get the best deal you would need VPP and finance through Infiniti for the dealer to get max rebates/casback. You can refinance in 6 months and dealership does not care but before 6 months it will cause a charge-back from Infiniti and the dealer get's pissy when they loose money...lol

Beautiful car, great deal! But, the grubb emblem got's to go. I can't believe they did that. I would think the license plate cover with their name on it would be enough free advertising?
