Lease pull ahead deal on 2013 G37S 6MT
Need some advice on the situation, not necessarily the price since I would be using the VPP-A plan.
Went to the dealer over the weekend to simply check out the Q50 and do a quick test drive. The lease on my current 2012 G37 6MT ends in January, so I am in no rush to make a move.
The salesman tells me about the 3 month pull ahead, and the price drop on the remaining 2013 G sedans. I tell him I'm not looking to eat any of my current lease payments, but he insists we take a look at the numbers since I am eligible for VPP-A plan.
In short, I have 5 payments left on current lease @ $355/mo. That leaves about $700 of rollover, which would be covered by the $1000 loyalty rebate. The rest of the deal is as follows:
2013 G37 6MT
24 months, 12k mi/yr
$308/mo (including MI 6% sales tax)
$1300 due at signing
I'm struggling to deny this deal. On one hand, this would be my 4th G sedan (08, 10, 12) and I would be basically driving the same car for ~7 years. On the other hand, is there a better car I can get for this price?
My main issue is whether or not to take the chance of waiting until next month, hoping that the 3 month lease pull ahead program is still available. Also, I really don't want to eat the 2 payments from my current lease.
As some would say, this is a 1st world problem and I should NOT complain about getting a $42k sports sedan for $300/mo.

Hi Volnedan,
Here is the deal. Your current lease does not qualify for pull ahead. The program is for leases ending Dec 1st.
They are rolling all 5 payments into your lease. However, waiting may not get you a better deal since the programs change monthly and as a car ages, the programs only get less.
Of course another downside is that they are no longer offering a 6MT. So, once they are gone, they are gone.
Just FYI

I think the deal sounds great! although like you I've also owned 3 G37's but coupes 08,09,12. I personally wouldn't get another.
That number is very attractive for the quality of car you're getting. I'm just bored with mine and after 3 models id at least look into other cars maybe an M37 if you want to stay with Infiniti & a sedan?

Thanks PghPens, I didn't think the dealer was rolling all 5 of my remaining payments into my lease. I've purchased my previous 3 vehicles from this salesman and we have a very good relationship, as he is up front about everything.
Where did you get that information from? Its nice to know I have until Labor Day to make a decision.

Thank you Jax, I completely agree. I was looking at maybe a Jetta GLI or something lower end, but for the same lease payment nothing compares to the G. Looks like I may have to pull the trigger.
