To re-lease or not to...
Have 5 months left on current 2010 G37S Coupe lease and salesperson called me to get into a new 2013 G37S Coupe 24-mo lease, fully loaded with all packages plus prepaid maintenance and sports muffler accessory (from IPL) for $599, including tax, 12,000 miles per year and $2,000 due at inception. It's about $50/mo cheaper than my current lease. Any thoughts on the lease quote?
Also, I lease because I like the idea of driving something new often. Although I like how the G37 looks and drives, the 2013 model looks exactly the same inside as it did 3 years ago. On the outside, the only difference is the front fascia, integrated fog lights and the back spoiler is an actual spoiler. So basically, I would be driving the same car except that I would go from White on Ash to Red on Black. Anyone out there conflicted with the same issue?

How much from your original residual value on your current lease do you owe or what are they pricing your car at?
I'm looking into a lease but don't trust the high residual value. Feel like they are going much different at lease end in two years

If you like leasing and don't want to always pay $2,000 up front, check out:
LeaseTrader.com - The Most Recognized Name in Auto Leasing - Car Lease and Lease Swap - BMW 128 - BMW 135 - BMW 320 - BMW 328 - BMW 335 - BMW 528 - BMW 535 - BMW 550 - BMW 640 - BMW 650 - BMW 740 - BMW 750 - BMW 760 - BMW ActiveHybrid 3 - BMW Alpina
You can take over someone's lease and it ends up really being like $500 up front instead. Just a thought.

My current lease has a residual value of 61% based on 39-month. I don't know about residual value of new one but MSRP including sports muffler accessory which I don't have in my current car is nearly $52k. I figured that 24-mo lease would be more expensive since they don't get as long a commitment from the customer on monthly lease pmts. I have been leasing for the past 11 years and the quote on a 24 is usually higher than on a 36. Also, the 24 allows me to jump ship when the redesigned Q60 comes out in mid to late 2015.

Seems high to me, especially with that much out of pocket. Here is the deal I recently got and posted in another thread:
2013 G37S Coupe
Premium Package
Navigation Package
Sport Package (obviously)
Illuminated kickplates
Carpeted trunk mat/first aid kit
Window tint
Sticker price was $48,895 (closer to $51,000 with the "dealer add-ons")
24 month lease with 10,000 miles per year
Total out of pocket = $2500.62
Total monthly including tax = $435.00
PLUS they got me out of my BMW lease 3 months early and threw in the first oil change for free.
And if you like your current G37 why not stick with another? Personally I like to get different models every other year when I lease (I have two leased vehicles so I get a new vehicle nearly every other year) but if you're happy with what you have, why change?
I think you can negotiate that deal down a bit from there, though.

To high for that lease dealers are getting out of the '13 year model cus the '14 are coming in July. Now is the time to get a new lease on a '13 year model. With 2k total drive off you can get a killer lease deal for $300 something a month plus tax maybe 12k a year in mileage. I got an 18 month lease for $277.39 / month with tax included 10k year in mileage with just 2k drive off. I was very surprise when They showed me this deal. I was looking at an Accord or a Camry for my daily and the lease was a lot more than my G now. I got the G37S Journey with all the bells and whistles on it and I love it. I reserved the new Q50 Sport coming out in July if I like the damn car I'll trade my car in and get it.

Hey was hoping you could help evaluate the quote I got today....
G37X Premium Package with Navigation and Sport Package
12K miles per year , 39 months
0 down - (literally sign and drive) all dmv tax and reg included
I would be trading in my leased g25x early, infiniti will cover 3 months out of the 8 remaining so I would pay 5 months @ 305.99 so essentially $1500
What do you think? Any help would be appreciated
