* Early Lease Roll-Ahead Programs - Experiences & Suggestions Needed *
So to start I am in a 39-month lease w/ 15K miles per year which ends in September of this year 2013. My car is a 2010 G37x Sedan with about 18,000 miles currently, and my payments are $400 flat per month. I know, the car is way under miles and in perfect shape so I'm not worried about any turn-in inspections, this is also my 1st Infiniti lease.
I recently received a letter in the mail about a promotional lease roll-ahead program being offered to me, followed by a call the other day by my Infiniti sales rep. I am very interested in the new Q50's, but was told the lease deals for them will be much less attractive, at least for the first few months.
So my question is really if a new shorter (24-month) lease of a 2013 G might be more beneficial than riding out the lease to the end towards a 2014 Q50? Any experiences with roll-ahead lease deals? What types of incentives should I shoot for if I do go in to negotiate? Should they take my very low miles into consideration? Any comments or experiences are appreciated!

why lease another G since there both pratically the same? Just ride it out till the Q comes out. I've inquired about some these "lease deals" and you never end up on top, depending on how much time left on your contract they just won't let you void the rest of your payments...They don't take low mileage into considerations at least in my experiences because you signed a contract saying the cars residual will be a certain amount and the mileage will be a certain amount.

well it varies from dealership to dealership if they are SUPER desperate to move old Gs they might let you get a new one. Since the Q is coming out the Gs resale might not be as high but it really depends. I remember when the first TL came out gosh ppl hated it and the old TLs were selling better than new ones. But in all the new Q has more refined look but the sad thing it has the same engine with same specs. They could have at least given more tq...imo and could have kept the same name...

You're better off just waiting for your lease to end. The dealer may "eat" the last 3 payments but your other 3 remaining payments will be added to the lease payment of the new car....so your payments on the new car would be higher than if u wait until the end of your lease. It would be a good idea if you were over miles, but in your case it doesn't make sense. The condition and mileage on your car has nothing to do with it...you're penalized if you go over miles, but you're not reimbursed in any way for staying below the allowed miles

The new Q50 lease deals are going to be very high when it comes out and will eventually drop. They're making the iPL versions with an significant amount more in power this time around. I'm on a 24 month lease and by the time this is up I'm hoping to get some good deals on the newer models coming out. Can't wait.

I highly doubt the Q50 leases will be high because the JX came right out of the gate with nice lease and sold like crazy.
As my lease comes to an end, the last thing I want is another G37 that's being put out to pasture.

When the 2010 g37xS came out with the 7 speed automatic, facelift and I terror changes I paid way more then the 10 kids I know who got it a few months after me and keep in mind I was under "loyalty" pricing

The JX lease rates were good from the start bc it was a completely new model for Infiniti. They weren't sure how it would be received or how well it would sell so they had to price it aggressively. The Q50/G37 has been Infiniti's money make so there's no doubt that it will sell. So Infiniti doesn't have to be as aggressive with the pricing. The lease rates will be high at first and then gradually drop...just like it has with every model year release of a redesigned car

The G line is Infiniti's volume line so highly I doubt the initial leasing will be undesirable.
I too and being wooed by the dealer 5 months out for an early lease termination but the last thing I want is another G, so I'm working on M and FX quotes now. My problem is I do 25k/yr leases and hardly any other brand, other than Ford, will do these so I'm about stuck.

Q-50's
I work at a Infiniti dealer in melbourne florida, the one thing I can say about the Q-50 is that they are most likely are gonna be obviously much more exspensive to buy and lease than the G's are at this point the G's are the best deals they have ever been. Might be best to hold off on the Q-50's for atleast a year or 2 this also gives you a chance to see what else is Infiniti is gonna put out. Check out our website on Infinitiofmelbourne.com and add me on facebook.com/Infinitijustin I post all our cars and latest trades. i would like to help anyone with a new Infiniti or a nice preowned so drop me an email please.
When the Q-50s first come out the dealers will probably slap a hefty addendum on them.
