Can you get extended warranty for a privately sold G37?

As the title says, I'm looking to buy a privately sold G37 but was wondering if there any stipulations from being able to get the Infiniti extended warranty (Elite warranty)? Does the warranty have to be purchased through a dealer after an inspection I'm guessing?

I don't see why not. So long as you are within the 4yr/50K mile (I think) new car warranty. Depending on age/miles they may want to see the vehicle. AFAIK, only infiniti dealers sell the elite care extended warranty, be weary of third party warranties.

I bought such a warranty for my old car, which too was purchased used.

Any Infiniti dealer will be glad to sell you an elite contract.
As long as you meet the mileage /age criteria.
They probably will check it & as long as you got money, they will sell to you.
Just price it around, you will see a big mark up on this.
Happy warranty hunting, it's worth the extra cash for piece if mind.

Like Jsolo and RiskyGuy have said you should be able to purchase the Elite warranty through any Infiniti Dealership, I purchased my car from a Infiniti dealership and they included it in the deal, its was about a $970 fee, just to give you an idea of what it costs, but you get stuff like free roadside assistance and a couple of other things, which is nice to have for peace of mind.
Just in case you haven't seen some of the benefits of the warranty here is a link to some more information. I would recommend getting the warranty if possible, especially on a used car.

My Finance guy can get you a nice quote on one, he is a little short on Warrantys this month and he needs a few more out to get his #s up. Hes giving them away, about to pick one up for my Maxima that I bough a year ago. He can Sell Elite too.

Did you ask the dealers? I say you can get it when ever you want. Its easier to do it when your still under the factory one.
