lease return inspection
not sure if this is the right subforum
got my EOL inspection coming up. my car is in pretty good shape - interior is pretty much like new, just need to clean up scuffs on the door speaker panels and the stone interior carpet has some dirt on it. the mats are like new, since i have AW mats from day 1.
my concern is the exterior. all doors and panels are pretty immaculate save for my bumpers. the front got curbed in a parking lot, and the rear has seen its use on NY streets. the corners have scratches down to the bare black plastic (no gouges in plastic). some scratches are about 2-3in long.
how much could i possibly be looking at as far as paying infiniti? i am getting a $500 credit for leasing another G, but i'm pretty sure that wont completely cover the 2 bumpers.

I just had my inspection down Thursday morning. They took pictures of the entire car. I had alot of scratches on the bumpers due to manhattan parking but they only got me for 2 rear tires and my back bumper had a huge scratch @$178. My total was $578 and I'm responsible for $78. I was a little nervous they would bang me over the head but you should be ok.

i am hoping that the inspector comes earlier in the day on Tuesday, so i can give the car in same day

My inspector did go through a few things that he touched as far imperfections that I observed that he ignored. Therefore after the inspection I asked if I can treat him to lunch and handed him $20. That's of course if he doesn't hit you for every little thing

got dinged for both bumpers for a total of $472.... and i was expecting a much higher estimate. there was another $200 or so in non-charge items like a painteless dent repair-able door ding, and swirls but that's no skin off my back
