G37s 6mt

What is a good price to get a 2012 G37S 6MT out the door. Is aiming for 35K too low or is it good so we can actually negotiate up to 36K for final offer? I guess there's only 6 6MT within a 1500-mile radius of Las Vegas. The closest I got is a dealership who has Liquid Platinum for 37K out the door. The guy said there's many people thinking about buying it and first one to do 37K out the door gets it. I'm looking for Obsidian black/black interior. If it comes down to it, I might do the liquid platinum. Is 35K low balling the dealers or it's a good starting point. I read the how to buy forum and so far I told 3 dealers I'm willing to drive down there once we settle on a good price first. 2 turned down the offer and 3 has yet to call me back. thanks for the help.

If you were dealing with a 7at you would have more room to bargin. There are a lot of those cars around. A 6mt they know poeple who want them will pay for them. Good luck with 35k but at some point you have to decide what the car is worth to you and what you are willing to pay not just what you read on the internet.

We're talking sedan right?

For a brand new one, 35K won't make it happen. $37K is a very good price. $36K unlikely. I paid $38K+ttl last december. It boils down to this, there's a handful of these cars available, not many buyers, but those that want this car, want this specific trim (6mt). So it all depends how long the dealerships want to try their hand at getting the best price.

Your post says out the door... You mean including title/taxes??? If so, 37K is a steal (our tax rate here is 8.25% on cars now!).
I preferred the graphite shadow over the liquid platinum. The light silver/grey was just too light/bland for me.

Thanx for all the reply. I can kinda see 35K was kinda low. I have two dealership willing to do 36,873.75 out the door and pay for TTL when I get to Vegas, or 37K and pay for TTL in Vegas as well. 37K for Liquid Platinum and flatbed it home, or 36,973.75 and pay additional for delivery fees.

So you're not talking out the door pricing. Your talking final price plus TTL (tax, title, license). At least in California, OTD pricing is approximately 10% over the purchase price.

If you want that car in Malbec, let me know. I think our sister dealer still has a couple of those left.

Yes, talking about out the door with TTL and everything. After all the input and realization, I understand 35K is almost like robbing the place. I got one for 39,875 out the door in California. So now, I'm trying for 38K out the door with TTL included. I know it may be impossible but it's worth a try. Shoot if USAA can get a 7,000 of MSRP and have taxes and everything will still get it to 38K and some change. I don't know about a 2013 model. There's nothing on the internet about a 2013 model and also it's 2K (from what the salesman said) for no change in the car. Why spend another 2K when I can get an older model and save 2K right? Right now my time frame for buying this is December. Trying to close a house and once I sign the paperwork and everything then I can apply for a loan for a car. Just poopish timing of my Firebird dying on me.

Issue is there are very few of these left. I have one left on my lot ( I be the sister store lol) 35k is definately too low, ever 38k is a stretch. My systems are down atm, once they are back up I'll see what I can put together for you.

Snooping around over at the East Coast area. I found couple in stock in Florida and one guy came back to me with an offer of 38,500K OTD!! That's pretty damn good. The bad news is my house is finally being built and we'll close in December, so I'm going to have to gamble and wait till December before buying this car and hopefully there'll be couple left before the end of the year. I know it's taking a big chance, but maybe it'll be a better deal than, because it'll be right at the end of the year.
