Can I turn in my lease and get a new g37?

Hey guys, I'm currently leasing a 2011 g37 coupe base model... extremely satisfied with the car and loving driving it but I desperately want a 6mt. I have 6 months left on my lease. Any way I can turn in my car and walk away with a new 6mt? Obviously I would have to pay more monthly but that's fine.

Have any of you done this? If its possible do you guys have any idea how close I need to be to the termination of my lease? Thanks!

You'll be able to work out a deal to do this, although you'll lose some money. If you can hold out three months, you'll likely lose less since Infiniti frequently runs pull-ahead programs to get people out of a lease and into a new one when they're around 3 months from the end of the lease.

If you're in Northern California (or close) and want a '13 6mt, PM me and I'll see if I can help make it as painless as possible. We've got a couple of 13's in stock.

I'm actually thinking of picking up a 2012 6mt since it will be cheaper. The 2012's will start selling around November correct? I will definitely wait unt I'm 3 months from my lease termination date then I'll visit my dealer. Btw I got some broshure type packet from Infiniti with an awesome offer on the 2012 g37 6mt, it tells me the offer is valid 120 days before or 30 days after my lease termination. Those this mean I can pull ahead 120 days early??

Thanks!

What deal are you offered for the 2012 coupe? I took advantage of the 18 month lease special offered on the sedans last month, but not sure that applies to coupes.

If its worth it to roll in 3 payments, then go ahead and do it.

What you got sounds like the pull ahead offer. It probably includes waiving your last three payments plus will likely give you $300-500 'forgiveness' on excess damage or mileage. The 18 month lease options on 2012 sedans are pretty amazing right now. Plus it lets you decide at the end if you want to keep that car or update to what will then be a redesigned body style.

I'm not sure when we'll see 2013's yet (I'm assuming that's what you were asking). I suspect it will be in October because '12 G37's are getting really scarce and I'm hearing it will be end of September before this problem goes away.

As volnedan suggested, the 18 month lease offer is on the Sedan. The shortest current lease on a coupe is 24 months.

Issue is that by the time I'm eligible to use the pull ahead program (which is sometime around November) almost all 6mt's will be gone =/. I definitely do not want an automatic. My current g37 coupe is an automatic and although the car is a blast I really feel like I'm missing out.

The deal I got on my coupe back in 2011 was 279 +tax a month 2k down 10k miles a year, 24 month lease. My coupe is a base model which honestly I've never seen I might be the only one with a base ;D jk I also got that deal with previous owner loyalty and what not.

Go to the dealer and see what they say...simple. Don't expect to pay more. Unless your car wasn't the same price it should be lease. There are some good deals going right now.

The problem is the dealer is saying I will end up with negative equity since the pull ahead program is only for 4 months.... Another problem is they have excellent deals on the '12's but not much of them are left so waiting another 2 months won't do me any good... I got a quote from Truecar for 38k on a 2012 6mt which was the price of my current G... Thanks for the advice tho

2013's are already showing up on dealership lots.
12's came in late 2011.
