i was just at the dealership and drove a g37x sedan. with the premium package liked the car. dnt really need any other options. so i said what the hey run the numbers. they came up with cap cost of 36600 after a 1500 incentive from infiniti. and at 39 months and 12k a year they had a money factor of .00028. and showed a rent charge of 16$ and they said my payment was gonna be 416$ a month. i said bs and said it should be no higher than 370$. he said not possible so i walked.i ran the numbers in RIDE with G auto lease calculator and it should be 361$
i also called them out on the money factor being wrong. and said it should be .00008 not .00028
he changed it and it went from 416$ to 403$

were they trying to screw me?

dealers get a $ kickback for raising your rate. Just like a mortgage broker would.....

 

they called me back and said we need to sell 3 more cars today. whats it gonna take if i go 359. will you take it? i said need to talk to my wife. at this point thats where it should be to start and then we negotiate from there. so to me its not even that much of a deal. i mean im nt getting any extra add ons. only premium package which it pretty much a standard on all g sedans.
