G37xS Leasing question
Hey guys,
So I'm in the middle of negotiating a deal and need some advice. I bought a fully loaded 2011 Maxima last year but don't really like the CVT transmission and I need AWD haha. I am upgrading to a 2012 G37xS with navigation, sports, premium, tech packages, and some other random options.
Lease details:
39 months; 10k miles a year; $4k down payment
MSRP $46,700
Negative equity: $2500
Lease price: $500/month
What do you guys think of this deal? Thanks!

WAY too much
is it a sedan or coupe?
you should be targeting lower 400's. You shouldnt be leasing a car based on MSRP but rather a selling price closer to invoice

Oh really?? Eek. They did offer more for my trade than other dealers but I still have 2500 in negative equity. The negotiated price of the infiniti would be 43.3k which I guess is too high. Realistically it is 42.3k since they gave me an extra 1k for my trade. How should I get them lower? Thanks!

They got it down to $480 a month haha. I was looking at truecar.com and it seems like a "great selling price" for this car is like $44.2k in my area. They are selling it to me at $43.2k. This is much less than what Audi and BMW want for a similarly priced car, so I'm not sure what to do. What irks me about the G is that it doesn't have as many creature comforts as my Maxima, like tilting side mirrors, heated steering wheel, and auto-dim side mirrors. It seems weird, but outside that, it does seem much better put than the Maxima, though leather quality is about even.

Hey guys,
So I'm about to bite. It's the end of the month and they are giving me some good deals (taking into account the negative equity in my car). They brought the price of the car to $700 below invoice ($42,300) and increased my trade by about $800. Leaves me with about $1800 negative equity rolling into my $4000 down payment. Our tax rate is 10% so the monthly payments are higher than usual but I feel the price of the car is rather competitive. The car has premium, navigation, technology, and sports packages and retails for $46,800. I qualify for their 0.0003 money factor as well for a 36 month lease and 12k miles. What do you guys think???
Thanks!!

$480 + 4k OTO is way too much still..........however I dont know what that means with your negative equity.
my coupe with 3500 OTO was 431.....my sedan with 3500 OTO was 350.....you should be targeting lower 400's.....450 max.
have you spoken to other dealerships?

Thanks for the replies. I they negative equity really hurts me so that is probably why it is higher. If it is not a good deal though, I can wait for longer. Price of the car is below invoice which I thought was good...

I ended up not getting it. I couldn't justify paying the $4000 down plus the extra $100 a month when the car was almost exactly like my Maxima minus the AWD and driving performance. My Maxima is the fully loaded one so the nav, etc are all the same, and it includes heated steering wheel, tilting side mirrors, etc as well. If I didn't have so much negative equity ($3000) it would have been a very good deal since it would have essentially been 475 (includes tax) with 1000 OTD for their most optioned car ($47000). Was that a smart decision? Haha.
