$1k more gets you a 2012 G37 Journey. Invoice is $1.9k more than your offer, plus there is a $1k incentive on the G37 sedan (not offered on G25).

very true! In addition, there is also a $1000 from IFS if finance through IFS on top of the $1000 loyalty... Very attractive on the G37 indeed, she don't need all that power though; but then again, you get more car for the money.

With USAA pricing gives me G37 Journey for $34,328 (before tax, title, and credit $1000 IFS financing)- includes:
P01] PREMIUM PKG (PRM)
[[C03] 50 STATE EMISSIONS (-50S)
STONE, LEATHER SEAT TRIM (K-1)
[B92] SPLASH GUARDS (SG2)
[L92] CARPETED TRUNK MAT, TRUNK NET & FIRST AID KIT (MNF)
[R94] REAR DECK LID SPOILER & MIDNIGHT BLACK GRILLE (SP4

G25 is nice, but very unpowered if you compare it to the BMW325. You want to go with the G37

G25 is not a BMW competitor, it's a step up from Honda or Nissan. That's what it's design to do. You can get a loaded Altima for about the same (or pay more for Maxima) but if you want to drive an Infiniti you get a G25 and your neighbors don't know.

Prices right now aren't that good. Back in Nov they had really good incentives.

I don't know if that's a good price but always remember to negotiate your deals off of dealer invoice and NOT SICKER PRICE! I picked up my G37S NEW for $250.00 above Invoice! You may have to go to a Fleet Manager or Internet Sales Manager for that kind of pricing though. Regular salesman, commissioned, always want to stick it to you.

It's the same thing as a basic 328 everyone gets..

I think you are agreeing with me. The bare bones 328 (there are no 325s here) is somebody buying something to "look" like they are premium. And in a way maybe that's smart. It's the same basic car as a loaded 335 without all the bells.

But in the terms of pricing it's what they do. Overlap brands and upsell.
