Vibrant Red or Graphite Shadow?
Leasing G37 2012 Coupe this wknd. Its a two year deal. Seeking Opinion on Graphite Shadow with stone/maple, or Vibrant Red with wheat/maple. Pro's/Con's. Also the new driver/owner is female if that makes a difference in your color opinion. I don't see a lot of vibrant red on road, but I see plenty of Graphite Shadow. Vibrant red just not as sweet on the car lines as graphite shadow? Or is vibrant red just tough to find. Thanks!

I believe the vibrant red is too in your face RED, unless thats what you want. If you keep the graphite shadow nice and clean, the metallic flakes on that color are def. a winner..

Thanks for your response. I generallly feel that way about the red. If it were more a deep candy apple, vs. the orange undertones the vibrant red has it would be more of an eye turner. Really appreciate you responding. Thanks again.

Meh, vibrant red ftw. Slap some black rims on it with a black grill and it looks HOT. That's what I've got right now . Loving it every day
Plus, I like being different... and it matches my red hair

Since I own a GS, of course that's the color that gets my vote. It's a rather neutral color, not calling any attention to itself. I think the red is too bright. The silver/liquid platinum seems a bit dull, but gs is just dark enough without being to dark. GL

^ This. You have to be committed to rock red. If you don't think you can stand the heat LOL. I passed some random cop stop off an exit and man, the amount of looks.
GS for all business though and it is a nice color. But red _is_ out there.

You Can't Go Wrong -- If you like the basic look of the "G"
+2^
My G37S 6MT is VR...so I am partial to that color. That said, you can't go wrong with any color as long as:
+ You have at least 19" wheels
+ You tint your windows
+ You lower the car in the front to fix the annoying fender gap being wider than in the back (just looks odd)
Each of the issues above leave a car that looks a bit off if you don't fix them.
IMHO, VR and OB are the real eye catchers. I just don't have the patience or time to keep the OB looking clean and sharp -- the VR is a bit more forgiving finish.
And, like I said in the title, if you like the look of the G in the first place, you can't really pick a bad color.
Pick one and enjoy the ride.

my thing with Infiniti is that if you are going to get a color, make sure it is metallic, Infiniti has amazing metallic paints, I only wish their malbec black was available on regular coupes..
