Definitely agree, I just know this guy won't budge. Its condition is pretty good minus the minor nicks and small scratches I'm sure I could buff out. Ill try and will report back tomorrow what happened. If I can get it between 30-31 K I'd do it without hesitation. I just needed some direction on what would be considered a "a good deal" for this specific car. Looks like 30K-31K out the door would be considered reasonable based on everybody's responses.

32,8xx is almost 33k! that's too much IMO. esp when it doesn't have navi. I know navi is not a big deal to u, but u gotta remb it helps a lot in resell later on.

Personally I wouldn't buy a car without a navi. Low mileage is a plus, no navi is a minus. I would still try to get it down to 30k.. or anything close to 31k will be pretty decent, definitely not for 33k!

+1

I'd take a little more mileage over no navi anyday. Also, keep in mind no navi means no backup camera. And especially in city parking it's almost impossible to park a G37 without a backup camera. Can't see **** behind you...

Because of individuals like xlack and others who posted on this thread, i managed to get the vehicle to $31K out the door from the original $32,866 out the door price. I wanted $30K but the used car manager couldnt do it. Best offer he countered with was $31,450. I asked him to meet halfway and he settled for $31K out the door CPO. It doesn't have navigation guys, but it is premium package Sport with low miles. Low miles were more important to me, more so than navigation, although many on here would beg to differ. I think ultimately the price is fair and not neccessarily the greatest deal ever, but to get $2K shaved as a result of this forum, dude ill take it! Will post pics once I drive it off the lot.

Nice!! Congratz on the purchase! I think you got a pretty sweet deal. For 13k miles is always a win! Welcome and post pics after you get the car

Appreciate all the input and feedback guys. It's been a while since I bought a car and this will be my first Infiniti. Glad I posted on these forums when I did, you guys put $2K back in my pocket, which to me is a huge deal. I'll post pictures once I drive off, heading there now to sign off on everything.

Took my car to Nissan for service like a month ago. They had a one owner Fully Loaded 08 Journey + Sport + Navi, not sure about the tech package. Advertised for 32k. I thought that was overpriced, conisdering an 09 is only like 2k more.

NYC, the car I purchased was also advertised for $32,450, but with the sport and premium package, no navi or back-up camera. I had to work to get the dealer to sell for $28.5 without tax, title, etc. Was tough. Car also had 13K miles. Think I left with a fair deal, but to get a fantastic deal I feel is extremely difficult.

Only 13k miles seems good to me for that price, its hard to get these dealers to budge on prices for used cars as nice as a g37 coupe, especially if they know there arent many available on the area. I'd say your selling price of 28.5k before taxes was really good, and only 13k miles, what more could u ask for.

Thanks NYC. My gut told me the original offer of $32,866 out the door wasn't right. I'm glad I went with my gut and walked away from the deal originally. I signed up for this forum right when I get back that night and contacted the used car manager the very next day after conducting more research and getting advice from all you guys. Based on all that, I thought the deal was pretty good. The G37's selling in my area were all mostly the same price but with ridiculously high miles, not black like I wanted, or in an auto. I lucked out with the one I purchased. I'll post some pics tomorrow once I get her cleaned up like a champ.

the low mileage is the reason why it's a bit higher without the nav. if you could negotiate the price a little lower (at least $500), then i'd get it.
