Planning to lease an IPL, need help
Hi, my name is Robert from NYC and just registered here. I'm planning to lease an IPL (auto) after I did extensive research and comparing it to a fully loaded 2011 G37 with aero kit but before I go to a dealer I would greatly appreciate if people who have gotten the IPL by lease would kindly share their monthly payment, money down, final price of the car, etc... I would also like to know how low can an IPL can go in terms of monthly payment if the total cost came to about $46,500 which someone on my37.com has posted on his IPL due to negotiating. I've read that the IPL's lease can be higher due to limited number of production units so I kept that in mind. And one final thing, what is the highest lease payment you would go to lease an IPL (auto) ? I won't be able to thank you guys enough for your help!

sorry for not putting my lease factors in, i want 10k miles and between 39-60 months. Hopefully my lease factors can give me the lowest lease possible for an IPL. Also I have a couple of friends with connects, one whom can give me no money down, so can I use that when I finally go to a dealer(s). One final thing, obviously if my friends can give me a "hook up" better than a dealer, I'll go with them but I'll just see if I can get lower with a dealer. : )

Hahaha 680 a month? Take your money to BMW. Not trying to bash the IPL but cmon almost 700 a month for whats basically a slightly tuned g37?? A kid my friend knows just got his M3 for 800 a month zero down, that seems more worth it to me.

Why the hell would you want a 335i? I am in the middle of my nightmare of switching from G37 to 335 back to G37. Hopefully I'm able to get back into my beloved infiniti without doing too much damage. Stay away from BMW. Nothing but problems over there (at least with their turbo/fuel pump technology).

My G37 was one of the first to come out and I never, not once had an isue with the engine or transmission. My BMW has been in the shop 3 times for fuel pump/injector/engine issues in the 6 months that I've owned it. Not to mention scheduling service and getting a loaner car out of BMW is a complete nightmare. My BMW was violently shaking because of misfires in the engine and failing fuel pumps, car flashing service vehicle immediately not safe to drive and BMW gave me an appointment 2 weeks later because they did not have a loaner car available. Never had an issue getting into service last minute with infiniti or getting a loaner car.
BMW (at least any with an N54/55) isn't worth the extra coin unless you have a lot of time and patience. They feel like tremendous cars on the highway, drive great when they run right. I know this is a threadjack but I just couldn't help myself.

I hate posts like these. People seem to think leasing is a magic #...leases are math. If you have a 50K car and the residual is 50% you pay $25,000 over the term...there is NO "only pay $400" it's MATH and MATH only.
An IPL will be a terrible lease because they are rare and they won't discount the car. Leasing is based of MSRP and the sale price. So if you have a $50k car and negotiate a $45,000 selling price you get a cap cost of $5k, but leasing is based off MSRP.
Some cars DO NOT LEASE well and are bad ideas to lease (sometimes buying is cheaper).
I've had a BMW 335 and now the G37. When my lease on the 335 was up they weren't leasing well. The G at the time was (huge discount on the vert).
My advice is if you don't know anything about leasing...learn. The comments the OP said show me you know nothing about leasing and it's a bad idea to walk in like that. There is no "price" you'll pay. You have to get all the factors of a lease to see if you're getting a deal.
The G37S will lease much better...they are common and will make the math more in your favor.
Don't listen to the fools on here that say "don't pay $600 a month for an Infiniti" they are pretty misleading and obvious either don't have a car or really don't understand leases. You are working with value/money. You can't lease a $50,000 car for the price of a 30K car.

They have more than their share of problems. Fuel pumps, injectors, failing turbos, finicky electronics... the list goes on.
