2011 6MT G37 S Convertible -- MSD
I am interested in buying a 2011 6MT G37S Convertible with all the bells and whistles
I am interested in 39 month lease with 12K miles.
The deal i got from a dealer is:
$0 Cash due at signing lease (with the exception of the $4,950 -- 9 Multiple Security deposits)
$478.14 a month -- with tax $524.76 a Month
$31,704.75 Residual
The sticker price of the vehicle is $50,325
good deal ??

you should be able to get the cost of the car much lower than it is. i picked up mine for 48 and change out the door (after takes and fees). i purchased mine though...
but there is nothing to say that you can't negotiate the price of the car THEN decide to lease based on the negotiated price. that's how the leases i've done in the past worked.
i think there is room to make it a better deal, although it's not a bad one. at 524.76 per month... you are 20465.64 paid in at the end of your lease. tie in your security deposits and you are at 25415.64 paid into the car.
should you decide to buy the car, your residual plus the total put into the car is 57122.39. thats how much your total spend would be if you purchased the car. (not to mention any intrest you would pay loaning out the residual value)
it's not a bad lease per-say, but i definitely think you can negotiate a more advantageous deal. i'm not into leasing so i'm a bit biased when it comes to how to purchase a car. if you can find a 0% intrest loan (i'm not sure if nissan financial is doing that now) i would recommend going with that.
