Is this a Base model G37?

I'm looking at a 2008 G37 that seems to be missing some of the bells and whistles.

Are these G35 Wheels?

And what is this box on the right side of the mess grill?

Thanks.

That doesn't seem to be a base model at all, it looks loaded. It's a 6MT with navigation and the Tech Package, as that box in the lower part of the mesh grill is the laser cruise control. The car just has the previous G35 coupe's wheels for some reason, maybe the OEM 19's were stolen. If I'm correct, the G35 coupe's 19's were forged and made by Ray's which means they're actually lighter than the G37 OEM 19's.

Yes, those are G35 wheels. To me it indicates that the previous owner possibly modded the car and then demodded to sell it and put the cheaper G35 wheels on it when selling or trading it in.

The opening is for the intelligent cruise control sensor, a part of the Technology Package. Since it has the Tech pkg., it means the car also has the Premium and Navigation packages. It has all options available except possibly 4WAS (it's not listed at least).

thats not a base model. 6MT w/ Sport, Nav, Prem.

Actually big thanks for this thread. I was wondering what my car would look like with the 19" RAYS OEM G35 sport wheels.
