you actually didn't over pay by much. about 700. Which in all honesty is fair for a dealership to make on a deal. All of you saying I only paid this much for mine, it was not an IPL you bought. Big price difference, the person with the X coupe, your msrp was 44, his was 49, difference of 5k it adds up. If your happy with the car and your fine with the payment then its not a bad deal, you didnt think it was until people were ripping on you. I know people who paid 4k more for their IPL then you did so no you didnt make a bad deal.

Take that IPL to some curvy roads and say that you own it. Drive the **** out of it.

I'm jumping on the band wagon and saying you paid too much. My car is a fully load XS coupe. MSRP of 48k. My payment with only 2k out of pocket is 445/month. This is for 39 month and 15k miles.

I considered leasing an IPL, but since this is my only vehicle I went with the XS so I can drive it in winter/snow. I was looking at payment of around 550/month for 12k miles and 39 month (again with 2k out of pocket).

My one disclaimer is that these numbers are from February and the rates/residuals may have changed causing prices to go up.

With all that said, no reason to dwell. You agreed to pay that amount and I'm sure the car is worth it. So have fun and drive the hell out of it!

He did pay too much. My vert was 53K and It's about the same price (with about $6500 off MSRP).

But in the end if he feels it's worth it. Personally I think the IPL is a waste since I don't like the body it at all and all the magazines have tested it to be the same as the standard.

Enjoy the car, and stop asking about deals now...it's done
