2011 G37xS Sedan - Good Lease Offer?

Hey guys, I'm a super nooB on this forum but I really needed some help and advice with my attempt at getting a lease for a 2011 G37xS Sedan (Premium, Nav, Sport, Aero).

I live around the Detroit, MI area and I went to 'Suburban Infiniti' to get a quote on a lease for this vehicle.

It is basically what I wanted (I was looking for a Coupe or Sedan), Obsidian Black Paint on Graphite Black Leather.

Basically I need to know if the numbers they gave me are reasonable at all, here's what I have 'negotiated' so far:

2011 G37xS (Premium, Nav, Sport, Aero) @ $475/Month @ 39Months W/ $2,500 down including all fees, first Months payment, etc. @ 15k Miles/Year

Honestly, EVEN after haggling I just don't feel like I'm getting a good deal, although the car is pretty much fully loaded (Minus Tech. Package) and esp after reading around on the forum for the last 4x Hours it seems like I can get it down to a much better price?

On a SIDE note, they offered me Multiple Security Deposits (MSD) pricing at $415/Month @ 39Months @ 15k Miles/Year @ $2,500/Down + $4,500 MSD which will be completely refunded at the end of my Lease after 39Months.

Also, can anyone chime in with Experience with 'Suburban Infiniti' in MI, and would anybody recommend trying to get them to compete with another Infiniti Dealership in my area? There is only 1 other Dealership which isn't owned by the same company within a ~50 mile radius. (sigh!)

Any and all help is welcome, and if possible, please suggest a price you would recommend I should shoot for.

I will qualify for Tier 1 Credit (not sure about the exact MF). Also, I didn't really talk to them about the INVOICE or MSRP of the Vehicle but Edmunds says Invoice is at $40,477 (without AERO) and TRUECAR has got INVOICE at $40,669 (WITH AERO).

Suggestions?

Thanks man, I felt like it wasn't that great of a price, I'm going in tomorrow to see what can be done!

Perhaps $435 for a G37xS Sedan/Coupe @ 39Months @ 15k Miles @ $2,500k down better?? Can I get them lower?

Thanks again!

This is close to my deal. I got a xS coupe with nav and few other options for 440 / month with 2000 out of pocket (39 month/15k miles). The MSRP on my car was 48k.

A xS sedan should be much cheaper.

Appreciate the help!

I think I might shoot for a Coupe instead of a Sedan this time

BTW, which dealership did you go to? I'm in MI

I'm out of Cincinnati but the local dealer wouldn't budge on their price. I ended up driving to Columbus to make my deal happen. They were great to work with and kept their word on every aspect of the deal including my trade in value. My car actually came from Michigan (they did a dealer trade).

My one piece of advice is to negotiate the selling the price of the car, not the monthly payment. Do your homework. Research the options you want and know the invoice price. edmunds.com will give you good idea what to expect for the average sell price of the vehicle, but this will only ballpark the price, so don't feel like you're getting a bad deal if they come in a little higher than website. Once you have the selling price the monthly payment just becomes a calculation. It will only change depending on your credit score and down payment. I actually created a spreadsheet with different terms and down payments so when I negotiated my final deal I had everything laid out in front of me. My calculations were only $2 dollars off the dealers.

Good Luck.

Did you already get the car? If not, please don't waste your time with Suburban Infiniti (Novi or Troy), both of them are rip-offs. Don't even bother with Ann Arbor, they are just as bad for negotiating. I'm on my 4th Infiniti and I got 2 cars from Ft. Wayne and 2 from Grand Rapids (I live in metro Detroit). The best salesmen was the Craig Ressel at Pfieffer Infiniti of Grand Rapids, definitely worth the 2 hour drive.

Thanks for the help!

No, I haven't gotten my car yet. The best deal I've received so far has been $417/Month @ $2,500 Down @ 15k Miles @ 39Months from Infinti of Ann Arbor

Thanks for the recommendation for Grand Rapids, I'll call them tomorrow ASAP! Suburban Group is pretty annoying to deal with, and Ann Arbor has been giving me a hard time as well.

Hello from farmington hills here. I went to the dealership in Novi and the one in Troy. When i went to Novi dealership Bill there wasnt really helpful in educating me about the car because he must have thought i was wasting his time. But couple weeks later i went to the troy dealership and walked about with my g37XS.
My list price was ~45K.
I paid Zero down (Except for the first monthly payment + registration plate etc ) and signed a $521/month 39month lease. with 12k mile restriction.
I was able to get my payment down to $500 from $545 that they initially wanted but at the time of signing the guy scared me into insuring my the sport package RIMS. Apparently those are expensive and its smart to insure those just incase they get damaged.
All in all I am happy with my deal and proud of the fact that I got them to lower it from $545.
PS: No navigation in this car.

I can help..

What was the MSRP and the selling price?

I got the 2011 G37x Coupe w/ Prem for $360/mo. 36 months and 10k miles a yr. Lease tax here is 9% and it is included in the monthly price. I did absolutely no down payment but did 9 MSDs and only paid 600-ish for 1st month/DMV/Doc fee.

Bad deal,

Btw to fix your rim would be about 50-75 per rim so yeah...

Unless you have bad credit.

be advised....there is a price difference between sedan and coupes...........so when talking numbers...dont just say G37 sedan/coupe...be more specific because the difference can be almost $100 a month
