Has the earthquake in Japan affected Infiniti production?

Has the earthquake in Japan affected Infiniti production?

I am planning on leasing a g37 on 07/01.

I think the salesguy at Infiniti told me that the earthquake in Japan may impact Infiniti production.

Does anyone know if the earthquake impacted Infiniti production operations in Japan?

If so I'm wondering if I need to try to secure one maybe 1 month earlier?

Yeah man I was down at the dealer yesterday. They told me they use to have 300 units a lot and now they only have 180. I was looking for a MW Coupe with Sport,Navi,Premium but apparently there isn't one in Cali But they're getting more deliveries starting Mid-Late June though. And its almost impossible to negotiate for a good price since they're so low in stock. Good luck bro

EDIT: My bad didnt see date !

I'm not sure that it impacted sales, but I do know it has made an impact on parts deliveries for things on back order. I spoke to a few people in parts and a couple of people told me for the past couple of months there has been huge delays. I still have a part thats been on back order since early February. It's now almost June and still no updates on it.

Bought my 2011 G37 IPL for 46k, that's 1800 bucks below invoice, just about dealer cost. Herb Chambers of Westbourgh. There's not a better value for a car than this. Many are just sitting on lots waited to be sold

My brother ordered his 2011 coupe a week after the disasters.

So far his salesman said it'll still arrive as scheduled. (June) 3 months wait.
