[LEASE] Very close to ordering a G37xS, here are some numbers
I called a dealer in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and this guy also told me you can't hassle with the VPP pricing, and that it's fixed. I also asked him if there was a 2k incentive and he told me there was. but it broke down to two 1k incentives, which I do not qualify for because I'm leasing.
The first 1k incentive was for Customer Loyalty. Basically, if you already leased an infiniti, and was looking to getting into another one, they'd give you 1k and another 1k, if you bought the vehicle.
So i didn't qualify for either.
but anyways, I got a quote for a G37xS, because I'm in michigan and thought it was more practical due to the crazy amount of snow we get here in the winter.
With the VPP D Plan it came out to be:
$42,940, which includes:
Premium Pkg,
Sport Pkg,
Midnight Black Grill,
Rear Spoiler,
Splash Guard,
Illuminated Kick Plate, for 39months with 10k miles/yr.
and the monthly payment was $433.46/mo, including tax, with $1300 + new plate fee, at time of delivery.
This is a good deal right? let me know, thanks!

OP.....are you getting a sedan or coupe?
the VPP price seems about fair. its very similar to what im paying ($431). I have a 2010 Coupe with the same that you have....except I have Navi...no AWD....where as you have the opposite...the numbers kind of even out.
Getting AWD is a wise choice. I think the residuals are better for AWD anyway.
Chuckie, you can def do better on your car.......maybe even down to 320's (or lower). or atleast negotiate for a car with navi for that price.

JSP - here are the numbers I came up with per edmunds.com
MSRP - $46,855 Invoice - $42,940
2011 Infiniti G Coupe G37x Price With Options
So your getting it at invoice.
..anyway, from my experience it's decent, but nothing special. Many/most people are getting there G's for under invoice. Common for $1500 under and sometime upwards of $2000+.
EDIT _ Just tried the link and it is not linking the end results with your options and accessories, but if you go through it it will show you.

^^^ Exactly.
That VPP plan is giving you a false sense of a "Good deal" and apparently the dealership knows that. People assume "I got the VPP plan" so it automatically equals a good deal. Not true. Again, most on here negotiated much better numbers then your VPP plan. Educate yourself on invoice price, current trend as I stated before (below invoice common), and the months money factor and residual. During your dealings, request these numbers and cross reference them.
Edmunds.com pricing section and RidewithG are your two best friends!
Here's my recent deal
BTW - my best deal was $381/month with 2650 at signing. But I believe that car did not have aero.
This is my first lease and I knew nothing about them a few months ago. However, I'm the type to educate myself & research as much as possible on just about everything. ..To the point it's getting annoying that I can't even get myself to buy something for $10 without going through a million amazon reviews and forums. LOL anyway...

is it also true, if you order your car (which takes 2-3 months), infiniti cannot lock in your monthly rate for longer then 30 days? (according to the dealer I spoke with)
so for example.. if I order my car now at $433/mo, by the time my car is ready to be picked up, the monthly rate could go up/down depending on what deal is going on at the time. this sounds so stupid to me since we put down a $1000 deposit at the time of order.
