is it also true, if you order your car (which takes 2-3 months), infiniti cannot lock in your monthly rate for longer then 30 days? (according to the dealer I spoke with)
so for example.. if I order my car now at $433/mo, by the time my car is ready to be picked up, the monthly rate could go up/down depending on what deal is going on at the time. this sounds so stupid to me since we put down a $1000 deposit at the time of order.

thanks for all your response ibanez, i think i'm gonna try to negotiate to do a bit better, i'm in no rush, although I would like to get into a G37 ASAP! lol
it kind of kills me cuz I know I can order one anytime, it just depends on what kind of deal i get that will make me pull the trigger!

Is there something special that is making you order one directly from Infiniti? From what I've heard there's no room to negotiate on ordered vehicles. If it is something on the lot, or the lot of another dealer (In my case 500 miles away) there is room to negotiate. Plus, no several month wait.

I called a dealer in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and this guy also told me you can't hassle with the VPP pricing, and that it's fixed. I also asked him if there was a 2k incentive and he told me there was. but it broke down to two 1k incentives, which I do not qualify for because I'm leasing.
The first 1k incentive was for Customer Loyalty. Basically, if you already leased an infiniti, and was looking to getting into another one, they'd give you 1k and another 1k, if you bought the vehicle.
So i didn't qualify for either.
but anyways, I got a quote for a G37xS, because I'm in michigan and thought it was more practical due to the crazy amount of snow we get here in the winter.
With the VPP D Plan it came out to be:
$42,940, which includes:
Premium Pkg,
Sport Pkg,
Midnight Black Grill,
Rear Spoiler,
Splash Guard,
Illuminated Kick Plate, for 39months with 10k miles/yr.
and the monthly payment was $433.46/mo, including tax, with $1300 + new plate fee, at time of delivery.
This is a good deal right? let me know, thanks!

This car is easy to locate, I wonder why the dealer wants you to order from factory. Answering your previous question: Yes, the deal will be different when the car arrives at the dealership. Residuals, MF, and dealer incentives change every month. The numbers you have now won't matter in 3 months, they'll change them.
I don't want to go over $430/mo including tax, and absolutely want the sport and premium package, navi would be good too, but i think it'll take me over the limit.
I went in for an insurance quote too, and it came out to be like $103/mo, so I have everything set to go, I'm just waiting for a good deal on the car.

i've contacted every single infiniti dealership in michigan, and this is the best I can find, this is VPP pricing.
And from time to time, I lied to the dealer saying I didn't have the VPP plan, and asked them if they could beat the $447/mo. and everything single person told me this price is nuts, and that I should just go with the place that gave me this quote.
I even called 2 or 3 different people in the same dealership. and this is honestly the best I could do, but w/e, i'm happy with it.
getting a $48,700 car for $447/mo is fine with me

it's right at invoice, and I don't think it's high, it's just very fair.

Do you mean... Hmm? It all depends on the market, and this is not a bad price. It's a good idea to check on the residual, since it cannot be changed by the dealer. I don't think getting base MF is realistic, but check it out anyways to make sure it's not too high. Judging by the monthly payment, I would say they both are on the mark.
