Check it here: ZAG.com

They get pre-negotiated prices from dealers and post them on their site. Click on the "Buyers" tab on the left navigation links.

The prices through Zag vary with region. There can be a couple thousand dollar spread on any given day with a given model. Maybe in your area they went up but they've stayed the same in many areas since early December and haven't changed yet (if you include the different incentives over that period).

Some places have very high dealer doc fees ($700 for example) so a place with $3000 below invoice for the Zag price but with $700 doc fees is the same result as a $2400 Zag price with $100 doc fees. Zag doesn't tell you the doc fees up front (until you send your personal info to dealers).

If you don't belong to one of the affiliate companies you can still get the same Zag price by clicking on the "drive your dream" link from the Buyers->Buy A Car tab at the Zag website.

When my homegirl was getting her Venza last month. All the Toyota dealers in this area would not honor "their" zag price.

My experience was that ZAG was not a sure thing, just a reference.

I had a great experience with Zag when I bought my '10 G37x coupe over the summer...got a great quote for a dealer about 90 minutes away who did agree to honor the price ($1200 below invoice) without any hassle. i then took that info to a more local dealer (only 15 minutes away), told them to match or i would buy elsewhere, and they honored the Zag quote with very little trouble. they even had the exact car i wanted brought in from another dealer because they didn't have one on the lot at the time. it was pretty much the easiest car-buying experience i could imagine.

I referenced zag and truecar when I bought my G. The dealer I purchased from had no issue matching and even beating the stated zag/truecar price.

Opposite experience with the Toyota dealers (probably since it's a high volume mainstream brand). Zag made it look all official (price certificate, person to contact from the dealership). No joy.

I have used Zag/True Car price quotes...and most dealers accepted the offer. By the time I bought my car, the price went below Zag price. I got around $3500 below invoice for a 2011 G37.

I am very happy with the price i got.

Ditto, I love my G and was very happy with the price I paid and what they gave me on my trade.
