Chico, do you think he can get this high on his trade? I just think the dealer just told him 36K to make him happy but they just add the over allowance to the lease at the end. Will you buy this car at 36K?

kchu221, what's the sticker price on your car?

Yep, you're right. It won't be easy. The dealer will low-ball the car. That's why he needs to negotiate the best deal he can get and then try to get the most for the trade-in.

Try CarMax they are a stick when you want to buy. But reasonable when you sell. I had my nephew walk away from a finance with losing the payments he made for a year. Which was about $2500.

What did you end up doing? You only live once, if you can afford it and it is what you want, then just pull the trigger. wishing you could drive something else for over 1000 days in a row will be tough. Good luck

haha till this day, im trying to work out a deal right now, i got a deal for 800 downpay for 39 months 12000 miles for 445 a month, but since my car is a lease right now, i have to trade it in, and i got a apprasal on my car for 29000 from car max... and i have to pay the difference between that and my current pay off of the car at 36000.... and if you divide that by 39 its another 154 dollars added to 445 so its 600 a month... im not down to pay 200 more a then just for a same new car... haha but imma try to get a another apprasal and see from there....

Can you still get this deal?

I cannot believe carmax gave you only 29K.

I think 29K is too low but my guess is 32K with outside dealers or 33-34K at the Infiniti dealers. I don't think you can much more than that. You probably can get a new 2011 like your car for a bout 40K so, I think the dealer can get the most around 35-36K for your car.
