Hey brotha i am in AZ as well and just leased the same car you are looking at. My MSRP was 42620 i got them to sell me the car for 38500 and then i had the 1000 loyality on top of that. So my cap was 37500 12k miles .00111 MF and 61% (12k miles) I paid $1700 out of pocket ( first payment, acc fee, doc fee, tags) and my payment is $407 with tax.

OK, here is where I am with negotiations. Thanks to Chico who really helped me in my negotiating and is a stand-up guy. I would have bought from him no questions asked if I was in the Northeast instead of PHX.

That invoice price seems very high. According to edmunds.com it should be around $39341. With the numbers you provided your payments should be $395 a month before taxes. What kind of monthly payment did they tell you?

They said aroudn $425 but I don't have some of the fees available yet (doc fee, licensing cost, etc) to put into the lease calculator to get the final #s.

Are you rolling the fees? Normally those you pay upfront. What's your upfront payment?

You're putting $2500 down? Your payments should be $395 with $0 down. Only taxes and fees upfront, about $2500.

I am paying $2500 at signing to cover those costs shown above. that's the total I am contributing at signing.
I'm not putting an additional $2500 down beyond covering the fees, 1st payment, etc. Does this calc read like I am doing that?

I see what's happening. They're using your upfront money as Cap Reduction to squeeze an extra $228 out of you. The payments are right, $430 including taxes. If you tell them you're not putting any money down, they can't charge you for tax on a Cap Reduction that doesn't exist. But, you're getting some freebies, so no big deal.

Did you actually get a deal like this? I'm also looking to lease a G37, and wasn't sure I'd be able to get payments under $400/mo...
