Just signed a deal on a 2011 G37 Coupe Sport 6MT:

~ 45k MSRP
24 months, 10k miles/year
$0 down (just first month's payment plus tax/title/registration)

Payment: $376/month

Similar Situation

All,

Thanks in advance for the help. I am a G37.com n00b but looking for help in landing a good deal on my (soon to be) new G37.

I am looking for a G37 Journey Sedan with Premium and Sport packages. Want to lease for 36/39 months and have good credit.

I am in the Phoenix area and am having trouble getting decent quotes. I am eligible for VPP (d plan) and ZAG (via USAA) but haven't gotten good responses from local dealers yet. Most are offering invoice which doesn't seem competitive at all.

Also, I have been told that the $1000 factory-to-dealer cash is not eligible for leases. This sounds like BS to me but need to validate with you all.

Can you help me with a targeted price?

Thanks!

avmba

p.s. happy to post as separate post if this is more appropriate

...I have been in the same boat for a '11 G37 Journey Sport sedan with prem and Nav. Best I've seen with plenty of negotiating is $380-$400/mnth (depending options) with $2650 at signing.

I think your deal is as good. He paid taxes up front, it looks like you're taxes are rolled into the lease. Maybe we can do better when you're ready. And don't forget that you don't want the nav, so the monthly payment should come down.

In case this helps - my total lease inception fee will be about $1300. That includes first month's payment, registration, plates, etc.

Are taxes included in the total out of pocket? It should be around $2500 total with taxes and fees.

Wait... You ended up paying a lot more for a car without Nav and Sport packages? I know, I'm not local and it's difficult. Anyways, congrats on the new ride, enjoy it.

Yea but rememebr I had a trade,, I had a 2009 Mazda Speed 3 17,600 miles. That I was tipped 4k, I was told.. Trust me, I would have wnet with the deal you gave me if the guy bought my car. I have been trying to sell it for like 2 months and was tired of the whole thing. If I could have swung something with you and taking my trade I would have driven out there and driven back in the G. But I know there was no way that would happen, RIGHT?? Did not sign anything yet???

Hey buddy,
Believe me, I want to do everything I can to help you. They will take the trade, but they have to see the car before they can make you and offer, so I understand your decision to stay local. Did you say you were coming to NYC this weekend? You can swing by the dealer and have them appraise the car, that way you can compare the offers.

I'm registering the car in MA, so taxes are paid on each lease payment (no up front taxes). The $376/month includes that.

To re-iterate:
2011 G37 Sport 6MT Coupe
24 months, 10k miles
$1300 total lease inception fees
$376/month including taxes

If anyone wants a similar deal, let me know and I can get you in contact with my dealer. He said he'd offer a similar deal to friends if you're looking to buy ASAP (before the end of the month).
