Bay Area Pricing

I'm in the market for a g37 with prem sport and nav. I have gotten a deal for 2500 under invoice(zagg). I have seen people getting about 4k off invoice here on the forums. Just wondering how much you guys are paying OTD for a 2011 G and which dealership? Thanks!

I think that $2500 to $3000 is a great deal, and doable. It's really rare to see someone getting $4000 below invoice. It's happened but it doesn't mean it should be your target.

i got 2000 under invoice for my 2011 g37s 7at. this was in december when the 2011's were still very very new. i was happy with my deal. i know if i waited longer then i probably wouldve gotten a better deal but i was at a point in my life where i desperately needed to upgrade my car before my previous car (VW gti, never again) would give me thousand's of dollars of repairs again

My negotiating skills must suck or VPP pricing is kinda useless.

I was quoted 37500 on a 2010 g37x with prem and nav - still new, no miles.

Are you sure those people got $4K off invoice in the Bay Area? As I mentioned in another thread, the Bay Area has the highest median household income in the country and one of highest gas prices. It's hard to imagine that $4K under invoice price is offered in such a place.

Actually, I think that in places where the gas prices are high, prices of cars with low milage are low. Otherwise sales would tank. I know that California is the best place to get a Lexus IS, but I don't know about the G37. According to ZAG.com, Atlanta has the best price for the G Sedan at $3000 below invoice. Those who got $4000 below invoice got a good deal in a moment where the dealer needed to move extra cars in exchange of incentives from Infiniti. When I bought my G37 in December my sales person told me Infiniti was giving them a lot of money to move cars. No wonder they offered me $2750 below invoice right off the bat, no negotiation needed.

I used gas prices as an example of high cost of living and doing business. I am sure there are exceptions in specific purchases and situations. As you got your G37 for a good price even though you are apparently from NYC.
