does carmax negotiate at all? I think the MSRP on this one is $45,000.

Its amazing how carmax will charge only $1 grand more for a fully loaded g37 then a base model that's $10 grand less. holy depreciation.

Some dealerships don't really check all the options.

When I was shopping for the G37, I found a non-S G37 Journey with Nav at Toyota dealer. Turned out it's a base model with no options. They would not lower the price more than $500.
Then I found another one with full-options. The dealership thought it's a Journey coupe with S + Nav package. Cruise control + OK button on the Nav didn't work + few more issues that should be covered under warranty. I use those issues to lowball them. I told them it has Tech package after I bought it. The owner was kinda mad because I didn't use his banks to finance the car.

/It took the sale guy at the Toyota dealership 10 minutes to move 6 cars that were blocking the G37. Reason: "all the salesman were trying to test drive it, so my boss told us to park it there".

haha cool

i like browsing carmax. They always have "fair" prices. Dealers would be asking probably $35,000 for that car. I notice carmax usually beats dealer pricing by 20%. Dealers price at KBB. Carmax is usually less and they don't account for options like I was saying earlier. $45 or $35g msrp will have the same carmax price. so there are good deals to be had if you know what you're looking for.

My neighbor is interested in taking over my lease. i said "only if i find a better one" and i obviously would never spend $45g on a fully loaded g37 but $30g sounds real good. A lot of dealerships (like carmax) don't look at all the options because when they buy the cars they pay base model prices or give very little for additional options.

so does carmax negotiate at all? like even $1000?

How about this G37?
Used 2008 Infiniti G37 For Sale | Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Hialeah, Miami Beach, FL M8M110787T

I know it has 29,468 miles but for the price? $26,991 ..i know them and they can still negociate the price so, maybe $25,000
also you will be buying through the Infiniti dealer and they can finance under pre-owned cars.
I don't know if they still have it available but last month you could buy a 2008 pre-owned car as low as 0.9%-2.9%

MJB Autosales here in Phoenix, AZ has a 2008 G37 base listed for 22,800. It has 18k miles. If you don't care about options, it's a great way to get into a G Coupe for cheap. You could probably talk them down another grand.

what do u guys think of this car?

Used 2008 Infiniti G37 For Sale | Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Hialeah, Miami Beach, FL M8M110787T

eta: oh crap autokits found it first!

yeah i love warrenhenry. I purchased both my infinitis there. They would def be willing to negotiate.

maybe I should start at $23g and work my way up to $24+++

i've never bought a used car, so i have no idea how low they are willing to go. I assume they bought it at auction for ~$20-22 grand.

it would be super nice to have a fully loaded g37. nav, 19" wheels, sports pck, journey w/moonroof, etc etc plus it's the nice grey color everyone loves.

if you're looking at Autos, you can definitely get in the 22-24k with no problem with those miles. Check out Autotrader and even Ebay. There's a few for 22,900 with only about 20k miles. All cars are dipping QUICK on price with the 2011's about to come out. Even dealers will negotiate quiiiite a bit to not lose as much money with the cars sitting on their lots.
