2008 G37S Opinions
Hey whats up my name is Shaun and I just signed up. Im looking at getting a 08 G37S from a dealership tomorrow and I wanted to get your guys input on the price and whether its worth it or not.
The car is a 2008 Black G37S Manual. The car has 24k miles on it and it is in flawless condition. The car was a lease vehicle the 2 years prior and has a clean carfax, so being that its a leased vehicle previously im somewhat assuming it was well taken care of. The car has the Bose audio system and is pretty much loaded with everything except navigation (which I dont really care about since every phone nowadays has navi). The car is going for $27,999 + taxes/reg/etc. Theyre gonna be able to get me 5% interest and last time I was talking to the sales rep he said he'd take $500 off, so pretty much $27,499 total.
Is this a fair price for the car? I was looking around and other dealerships and private sellers selling the same car were either significantly more expensive or the same price with double the miles.
Im taking a look at it again (test drove it once already) tomorrow and am ready to sign the papers I just wanted to get some opinions for some G experts
Any help is appreciated.

check kelly blue book. usually the price listed there is the cheapest anybody would ever sell the car for. if its a little over that price listing then id say its a good deal.

Sounds like an OK deal, but you can probably do better... at least here in Seattle, G37's are all over the place and dealers are inundated with lease returns. The dealer I went to had 10 '08's on the lot.
I just recently purchased a 2008 G37S, 26.5K miles, all options except Tech Package, and 30K mile service done early for $28K (total with tax and licensing), and had them swap the grill for the midnight black and install the spoiler.
Check the tires, brakes, and if they're low, you can probably negotiate the price lower... all four of my brakes were recently replaced, and the tires were sitting at 9/32nd and 8/32nd of tread. I'd also recommend requesting the 30K service be done or somehow included.
Good luck, and enjoy!
