Again, you might be making 8 years of payments, but you are paying NOTHING out of pocket, since your company is making the payments. That is the only reason you would ever consider that option.

If you are okay with paying out of pocket:

G37 Journey
Premium
Nav
MSRP 39,315
Invoice 36,162
Assuming you negotiate yourself an invoice deal (YMMV)
Assuming 10% for TTL+whatever fees

39,778.20 OTD
2500 down
72 months @ 4.9% (promotional APR, assuming you qualify) 598.64

Keep in mind most cars will have additional options like splash guards, trunk mat, etc, and that 10% is a VERY rough calculation. If you want the sport package, add the cost directly to your down payment, and your monthly will remain very close.

If I could get away with paying 98.64 out of my pocket for 6 years and full out own the car? Hell yes!

Here is how I was seeing it:

With a 700+ score I should have zero problem getting promotional financing.

Negotiate to 37,500 (about 1500 above invoice)
4000 down
Texas TTL rate is 6.25% of sale
2.9% for 60 months

= 642.47/month for 5 years (use this calculator)

142.47/ month out of my pocket x 60 months = $8548.20 out of my pocket to own a G37 Sedan.

I see where you are coming from Mike but there is just nothing about a lease that appeals to me, and then the fact that at the end of it I am just gonna have another 20,000 on top to pay? Not for me.
