G37 US prices compared to GCC
I am planning to buy a g37 or a g37 coupe within the few coming months. I discovered that within my region, the costs are very high for no good reason! So I am considering buying one from the US and bringing it here; but I have been wondering whether there are differences in the specs of a g37 between US and GCC (Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, UAE,...) ??
Just to give you a rough idea about the prices here.. I called the dealer in Bahrain and I was told that a g37 coupe (with navigation and other stuff) would cost something around $64k ! Is this reasonable..?
Any suggestions??
Thanks..

you can buy from Dubai, UAE will cost you about $50k USD for the 2009 models (g37s coupe). they dont have 2010 here yet. the 2009 g37 sedans (NON S versions)are about $2-3k cheaper
you would be better off buying a 2009 from the US and getting it shipped or if u want the 2010.
why they cost more? good question. the only thing i can come up with is GREEDY dealers and since there is no competition as there is usually only 1 dealer we are forced to buy from them.
if you have the $$$ and dont intend to finance the car id suggest you buy from the US.
good luck

Importing cars isn't free. I know you can't import cars here that aren't US legal and I might assume its the same there (although we have higher crash standards)...and the cost to get/ship and make legal is going to high. I'd assume it was close to the same price as just getting one there.
