How much did you all pay for your 2010 G37 Sedan?
Hi, I'm looking to purchase a 2010 G37 sedan with navi, sport, and premium options. I was just wondering if anyone got this setup and how much you paid for it. Just wanted to know before I head down to the dealer so I can try to negotiate.

G37S Pre/Nav/Sport
Got mine on 12/31/09 for $40,300 out the door at local Infinity in So Cal. Be happy with whatever you are willing to pay and have no regret or else you will be thinking that YOU ARE PAYING TOO MUCH!!! Just be happy

wrong section
but to answer your question you should be paying anywhere from 500-1000 above invoice (you can use Edmunds to verify) there are certain options that will always be a part of the purchase so don't think you can save like 200 bucks by taking out the trunk carpet. for a fleet dealer you can probably get away with invoice. at this part of the year no dealer would be dumb enough to sell below invoice unless they know they're getting a ton of new Ms.
but i re-iterate fatboy's comment. a good price is whatever you're willing to pay and what you can afford. if those don't agree. you're buying the wrong car.
IMHO, anyone interested in buying a car should be "willing" to pay MSRP. not that you're going to, but that you should be willing to get what you want.

like I don't agree when people want a car with everything they want that makes the dealer have to order it, and then they still want a deal. Dealers need to get rid of inventory which is why they're willing to make you a deal. they don't have to make a deal on anything they didn't buy yet. [/VENT]

I found a connection on G37driver.com and was able to use VPP pricing. You can purchase an Infiniti for 3.58% below invoice. Also, there is currently $1500 dealer cash available so you can negotiate with that as well. Use this link:

My car stickered for $41,580 and I got it $35,900

Interesting. Thanks for the info. I followed your link and a link in that website to the VPP site. I noticed in an example that there is a 2.5% "dealer delivery fee". Is this mandatory? Does it make the net price to be about 1% below invoice (3.58% - 2.5%)? That does not seem like a lot of saving if I have to pay someone a fee for the "connection" since I don't know anyone who is a Nissan/Infiniti employee. Please clarify.
There was no "delivery fee" in my process. It was quite simple, I was given the Email address of a Nissan Employee who is a moderator on another G37 site. Employees apparently are given the opportunity to share their VPP program with a set number of "friends/family". I made contact with him, he sent me a certificate, I took the certificate to the dealer and they gave me the VPP price for my vehicle. The numbers matched up perfectly and I saved (IMO) a substantial amount of money.

I used the VPP as well: There are several different plans and discount levels depending on your relationship to the company - mine was a vendor partnership. There are some fees that can push the price a bit higher than the straight percentage below invoice. Also, the intent is that you will buy something off of their lot. The dealerships can make you pay for delivery (in addition to the delivery fee) if you don't want something in their current inventory. Luckily, mine was willing to get me one right off the boat with no fee since they didn't have my color combination. Class move on their part.
I can't speak for this particular situation, but it seems like a misuse of the policy to get a VPP claim number form someone on the Internet. It is supposed to be for employees, family, and business partnerships. I didn't know that friends were eligible, but I can't imagine that Nissan wants people to share claim numbers that way.

$39,810 out the door. Specs in sig. I went at the end of January, not sure if that made a difference. I was surprised to see $1000 rebate to current Infiniti owners and $1500 market to dealer incentives for the 2010. I bought it January 27th.

Just got my car this weekend, 2010 G37 Sedan Journey, Premium Package, and the four dealer add-ons.. Paid $33,933 which was $36,460 out the door with TTL. I think I got a pretty good deal.
