IS G37 very small inside?

I saw g37 from outside, but local dealer is very small,so no G37 for sale now and i can't do test-drive.

is it very tiny inside? i am 6 ft tall and 240lbs ,so big guy.

I like g37 look. Will i fit in it? is it comfortable for long drives? Or i should get FX insteaD?

Any inputs would be helpfull :-)

Hvae $45 budget,so new G37 fully loaded or used 2009 FX AWD

^ Huh? I am 6'-2" and fit fine. Buy a 2009 now. There are great incentives to purchase an 09.

I'm 6'0 & 210 and it is okay for me. My only complaint is that I wish the seat would sit lower. I can't see it being comfortable for a track day because there is no room for a helmet wihout touching the headliner.

I'm 6' & 220 and it's fine for me up front, back seat and trunk space is decent - go for it! Although if you're 240, you might not want an S-model due to the seats.

I'm assuming you are in the US / US dollars.

I wouldn't buy one without sitting in it. You'll fit but watch out for the sport seats. Back seats won't be that great for you for a long trip. It's pretty adjustable so you'll find a good driving position. EX35 also has more room up front. For your $45K budget I'd also look at both an FX35 and and an M35x. The FX35 and M35x both are larger inside and are being discounted heavily. I think there is close to $7K in discounts on the M35x available now and good deals on the FX35. Check edmunds.com for the pricing threads and discounts available.

Best deals seem to be on the 09 G37s. But for heavens' sake - make sure you fit!

Peter

^ Good points, I forgot that his budget is $45K (also assuming he's in the US). OP - at that price point, and if you're concerned about space, I would also recommend looking into a FX35 or a M35 (huge discounts on '10s right now with the '11s being all-new).

Not sure where you're located, but here's the specials at my local dealer for an example of the types of deals out there: Roswell Infiniti - Roswell, GA

6'2 210 lbs.... pretty good kinda tight... bash my head on the roof everynow and then... also get a sunroof for added head room.

Ps. I cant spike my hair or i touch the roof

Also i drive a coupe so i drop my seat so far back that its very uncomfortable for someone sitting behind me

I'm 6'1", 260lbs. Fit's ok, but tight. I can't tell about long drives though. My longest drive was about 1hr. and I was fine. I do drive with the seat at the lowest and back rest leaned a bit.

Krebo: I think you're wrong. There's less head room because of the sunroof. (about 1.5inches less if I remember correctly) Should've gotten without sunroof, so you can spike your hair.

Hoping to be a G coupe owner in the next few years. I foresee kids in the next few years as well. My fiancee drives an Acura RDX so that can be designated the "family" car, but I'd imagine that that G will come in somewhere.

Has anyone had any experience putting a baby seat in the back of a G coupe?

+1

6' and 170 lbs. Wish there was more head room. My hair gets messed up when it is spiked. Also the sport seat is kinda tight. My Evo had more head room, and the seat was more comfortable (not the ride though).

With a 45$ budget you should look at Razr scooters!

Haha all kidding aside you can't really tell without sitting in one.
Are you looking at the coupe or sedan?

I have a coupe and like people have said some are tall and fit fine others barely fit. Sport seats are tight. Back seats are tiny. I'm 6'1 and I literally cannot sit in the back seat without having my head at a 45* angle against the glass. Trunk is also tiny, I have to lay my grocery bags down sideways.

I fit fine in the front seat and I like that it hugs me because I'm lean not very wide (6'1 - 170lb). Also if you want something with utility and AWD the FX or G37X would definitely be better choices.

I'm 5'-11" and the interior is absolutely fine. in comparison (though it probably isn't a fair one), when i test drove a 370z the interior felt claustrophobically small

it's not a 3 series... the interior is about the size of a 5 series. the car itself is classified as a midsize, more than A4s. when describing the sedan.

good head space, seats are something to be desired for larger individuals, like mentioned before probably not a good idea to get the sports package if you are a big person...

the coupe is has more interior cabin space than most other coupes. not a compact for sure (like hondas) a little bigger than the 3 series I would say. sufficient leg room to fit 4, no trunk.

I'm pretty sure the 328/335 coupe backseat is a bit bigger/more comfortable than the g37's backseat. The front seats are debatable - very close and both have comfy front seats and cabin space up front.
