I'm really close to getting one.. In reality, I could have opted for the 09's but my plan is to save a few $$$ so that I could mod faster..

To buy or not to buy.. that is the question..

What do you guys think about this? 09 6mt with premium no nav. Used only has 1k + miles. Theyre selling it for 37k. Is 34,000 reasonable i mean hell brand new 09 were going for 36k.

Here's the link. 2009 Infiniti G37 Coupe Premium Sport 6SPD at Sewell Infiniti of Houston

People paying over 40k for this car is way too much. I got a quote on black friday for 29k for a loaded '09 model.

Well, unless your definition of a loaded car is w/ premium package only then I think it's possible that you can get the car for 29k.

I priced a journey w/ premium, nav, tech and sport, the MSRP is almost 43k. I don't even include 4-WAS and spoiler for almost another 2k.

If you can get this 43k car for 29k, I think you can make a nice commission by helping people across the country buying their cars. It will be a lot cheaper than most places even w/ 1k shipping fee.

no way...I got my new 2009 with sport, premium and nav for $36,700 ($8k off) and that was 2 months ago. The remaining new 2009's are going for around 8k - 10k off msrp, you should try to find one of those.

Thats what I was saying, this is no joke. Back in late 2008, I was quoted 44k for an '09 Prem+Nav+Sport which was nearly 50k with taxes and fees. Black Friday 2009, quoted an amazing 29.8k (back when the 8-10k off manufacture rebates) for the same car which was 33.9k out the door. About a 16k difference.

You keep saying that you were "quoted", so I guess you did not buy it. Unless it is your own experience, it is hard for people to take this kind of information seriously. Even if you did buy it, anyone who has ever shopped for a car must have seen ads with "one only" fine print. It may be a loss leader or bait-n-switch. You cannot argue as if it were general rule.
