Blue Slate interior options

just be careful b/c west chester and ardmore dealerships are owned by the same person! their websites are identical if you check (and not up to date i might add). they also can look up what the other dealership had offered you without you knowing so be forewarned.
i almost bought from west chester but they couldnt go as low as ardmore. willow grove started high and ended high - never even considered them. holman jerked me around so i dropped them.
push for a little more off. the $1500 discount is very real, and b/c i requested it from the beginning they tried to make money elsewhere by raising the invoice $900. but a few hours later they relented and gave me the actual invoice... the games they play...
EDIT: im glad you figured that out about those 2 dealerships. they told me yesterday it costs $500 to ship a car from west chester to ardmore. i think that's BS.

I've got time to deal with the pricing so I'm not worried about holding out for a better price. I have the IFS pre-approval as well for 30 days but I can always get pre-approved again if need be. I'll let you know as soon as I know. I'm psyched but I'm not in a "have to buy" mode right now.
Thanks for everything...this is a big help. FYI another dealer explained it as a side step program where they get $1500 per coupe for selling x amount of coupes during the promo (and it's built into the pricing so we'll never see it.)

sorry but that's a lie. i negotiated invoice pricing (41,161)
- cash-to-dealer (3000)
- sell-it-down (1500)
______________________
$36,661 before TTL
infiniti added the 1500 for the month of october-jan b/c they are trying to get rid of all 2009 models. since it's a hidden incentive, dealers are not mandated to provide this discount to consumers, however, in order to compete with other dealerships they will often pass on the savings. i got a whopping 4500 below invoice, so it exists.

Yep I figured it was a lie. It wasn't the dealership I currently have the car reserved at so if I do go the Infiniti Financing route and get the $1500 sell me down rebate I'll be happy. We'll see if they'll go the extra mile.

It's like 18 miles for those who may not be aware.
FYI the Sales Manager gave me the boilerplate "you're already getting a good deal" so I sent back a pretty thoughtful and specific email stating I hope you can do something or I will have to walk (and I really don't want to walk because your dealership has been very professional) so hopefully he calls or emails me tomorrow.

you know i got invoice pricing minus all the incentives, so you should shoot for something close to that. i would say 500 over invoice then take 1500 off would be a fair price.

Thanks Iron! I got an email back today saying they'll honor it but that it's really "not a rebate." I also had them throw in 6 oil changes to complete the deal. I feel like it's a win/win.
Thanks for your help! I owe you for this one. Saved me $1500!

Yep I got the Wheat! I'll post pics when we pick it up next week. I really like the Stone...I think you got a good one. I'd have already picked it up but they had to order the spoiler to install it. So it's looking like Weds (even though the car is ready Tuesday...the wife always makes me wait!)
I think it's setting in now. This will be some upgrade from my 99 G20.
I'm taking the wife to Allentown's lot on Sunday to give her a better idea of colors/interiors while they're closed. Good time to browse before we actually pick it up (not buying from there though...would never recommend their sales dept.) She wanted to see colors in the sun in person and I have no issue going to an Infiniti dealer lot!. Can't wait for delivery day!

infiniti has come a long way since the G20... lol but when that car first came out it was better than what i was driving at the time - a nissan sentra SE.
be careful when you visit the dealer lot on Sunday. i did that at Ardmore, and 2 seconds after i pulled off the lot i was pulled over by 2 cop cars. apparently i had set off the alarm, even though i hadnt touched a thing. worse, i left my license at home so i had to drive an hour to retrieve my license to show it to them.
i cant wait to see your pics. it'll look just like mine except you'll have that nice spoiler. zero-lift they say!

Yikes! Ha that would be just my luck. Thanks for the heads up!
Yeah I love the 20 but it's going to the 16 year old when he gets off his permit. It's a 99 in great shape and only has 108k and change so we expect to get a lot more life out of it. I just put new brakes and some other stuff on it and it rides great. I have a feeling I probably will not miss it too much though once the 37x gets in the garage.

Yep G I'm excited to drive it home. Need a fast forward button for Weds. Although the thought of having the upgraded 9 spoke wheels put on is creeping in. I just don't know if they're worth it. I'm not much of a modder so it'll probably stay OEM's at least through the winter. Hmmm! I would just pay for them after the fact...decisions!
