$3000 incentive?

$2500 incentive ended yesterday.
But it seems that there is $3000 until 01/2010.

Is the $3000 incentive regional? The only incentive that I can see in CA is the $2,500 one.

da mayor, maybe you can clarify-looks like the $3k is not available if you use either the 0-3.9% percent financing and you must use the mfg captive financing. If I have my own financing I can't get the $3k??? and If if use factory financing I can't get both the low rate AND 3K???? OK I'm totally confused.

Below is something posted by an Infiniti sales person on the Edmunds forums on October 1st.
If true it's too bad they didn't beef up the sedan incentives as well.
================================================== ====

All the special rates stayed the same.

G sedan - no change - still $2500.

G coupe - big money - added $500, so now $3000 PLUS an addition $1500 you CAN use with rates or leasing or just add to the $3000 for a total of $4500! Now this $1500 may be a regional thing - but we have it in the western US.

G convertible - no change - still nothing (we are still selling them for MSRP or about $500 off).

I'm curious if you would be able to get $4,500 off of invoice or if you would only be able to get the discount off of MSRP?

That depends on the dealer. I was able to get mine down to invoice minus the 2500$ last month on the sedan.

I'd be happy if I could cover tax and license and walk out paying near invoice. I figure that taz and license in CA is near $4k.

Just called local dealer in Southern California and they said that the incentive is actually 2,000 now for the G37 coupe and not 2,500 or even 3,000. He said that the 2,500 incentive in october is for the AWDx coupe only. Is this right or is he just trying to get another 500-1000 from me?
