How is this deal for a loaded G37 Coupe?

Dealer gave me a price on a deal for a Vibrant Red G37 Coupe w/Sport, Premium, Nav, Spoiler and Wood. MSRP is $46,250 including destination. He will sell the car for $43,000 which is about $800 above invoice. He says he can't go lower because the car is not in inventory and he has to trade to get it. Also, because Vibrant Red/ Sport Pkge is a hard combo to find in the Northeast, where most of the G37 coupes are all wheel drive.

The payment is $592/39month lease including NJ state tax, with no money down, just upfront fees. Is this a good deal ?

Hi Mixman;
I recently shopped sedans in SoCal and invoice less marketing cash ($2,500.00) was the starting point for negociation. Why not buy direct from the dealer with the car? Maybe contact their internet sales person? Is it possible prices are that much higher in NYC?

Could I use the $2,500 as a negotiating amount even if I am leasing? I mentioned this amount to my dealer and he said that he only had a $400 holdback on the car.

Sorry, I read the prices quoted, didn't catch the last line that you were looking to lease.
The current $2,500.00 is for a cash sale or outside financing. I think there is also discounted financing offered in lieu of the $2,500.00. Hold backs qouted to me on the sedan were around $400-$500.00 also.

there aren't many rwd coupes in the northeast now. would you consider a 6mt rwd coupe?

Unfortunately, I can't get a 6mt as the wife cannot drive a manual car.

Because the rwd (especially Vibrant Red) is a rarity, should I go for the deal? Can I still special order a 2009?

Hmm I'm here in PA and I bought my coupe loaded for $41k OTD few months ago. It was financed though but your price seems pretty high.
