hey guys, im wondering if infiniti's lease turn in appraisers (aim) will dock me on non-oem tires if they are the same size. i want to put all seasons on and they are half the price but dont want to pay for the oem ones in the end anyway.
They should not as long as they have more tread than minimum requirement for lease turn in.

What about if you change the tire size to the much recommended 245 fronts and 275 rears? Some would see this as an upgrade, but I can also see Infiniti seeing this as an alteration from factory specification that would need to be restored.
depends on dealer too.. my dealer said as long as the wheels are the same size or bigger and the tires are all matching brand etc with 4/32" then that's fine..
Remember, the inspector that comes is independantly contracted. The dealer you return the car to merely holds the car for Infiniti. IFS owns the car, not the dealer.
Yes, I noticed that as well. An 08 Premium+Sport will go for 32,000 bucks in excellent condition with 20k miles. Thats a hell of a lot of depreciation on a car that is a year old. Thank god my car is a lease.

It hurts when you think in terms of absolute depreciation. Think in relative (percentage) terms.
The G is still THE class leader for holding value.
50% residual after 3 years is pretty damn good.
To put it in perspective, think of that poor ferrari owner who purchased his car.... 300k....

They'll dock you. I had to swap out my tires to OEM size, otw they would charge me for replacing the tires - at outrageous prices. They don't really care about all seasons or not as long as they are the OEM size and same speed rated. This is direct from the inspector himself.
