early lease swap question

early lease swap question
So i leased a 2008 g37s for 24 months late last August with 12k miles a year. However I changed jobs a couple months ago and thus my commute has severely increased, causing my miles to rack up. and i'm now closing in on 15k miles in under 10 months of my 24 month lease. I love the car but don't want to end up paying a ridiculous amount of money at lease end in mile overage charges (which is I think $.20 a mile). So my question is is it possible to swap my current lease for a lease on new 2009 G37 with the option to purchase miles initially at about $.10 a mile?
Would Infiniti any chance agree to something like this, because I'd be getting another G37, but it would be well before my lease is up.

I was in a worse situation then you. My previous G35 coupe was a 24 month lease as well with 15k miles a year and I ended up putting 20k miles first year. I was severely screwed and I hit my target 30k miles 6 months before my lease was up. I went to Infiniti and told the flat out that I dont want this car, Im paying too much now and its over the miles limit thus give me a deal on the new G37. Worked out a decent deal, they payed the remainder 6 months on my lease while all I paid was tax titles and fees on the new car along with some damages on the old G35 coupe like scratched rim and a little excess mileage, something that the Infiniti $500 loyalty credit took care of.
I learned my lesson for my new car and this time I did 20K miles a year of my lease contract. Its working out excellent so far and im right on target with 7 months gone and I have approx. 11k miles..Go talk to Infiniti and see what they say, or when you get closer to your target miles on your contract, start telling them that you need to get out of your lease..

not really, leasing actually makes more sense then buying in most situations, for example I knew I wouldn't want to keep the car for more then 2 years and didn't want to go through the hassle of selling a car. Unfortunately my circumstances changed unforeseeable making the lease not very practical, but at the time I leased the car (last August) it was a very good idea.
It's personal preference but you'll find a lot of people on this forum that prefer leasing over buying, me being one of them.

Be prepared to put some money down. I was leasing my 2005 G35 Sedan and wanted out early to buy the G37S. Basically I gave them my payoff and they told me what they would give me for the car. I had to come up with the difference if I wanted out of the G35 to get into the G37. Leasing really makes no difference.

also whats the montly miles allowed and the payment? i dont really plan on driving the car in winter so i can sacrifice not driving the G for 30 days and not put any miles if i were to jump on it lol

Well it's at 15.5k right now and the lease total is 24k, which expires in August 2010, so if you don't drive all winter you should be fine.
